"And this is?" asked Will, nodding towards the long haired pirate lass by his sister's side. Will was quite curious about the lass ever since last night. Ana smiled sweetly, waiting for an introduction, when...
"She is nobody." replied the Captain curtly.
Ana, looking quite miffed, immediately introduced herself with a broad smile and held out her gruffy hands, and Will Turner shook it.
"May I introduce myself, I am Ana, Ana Pearl, we met at the Tavern last night I believe, pleased to make your acquaintance Mr William Turner, your sister has shared splendiferous stories about you, and that you are indeed a distinguished and an unrivaled blacksmith around these parts."
Will let out a small chuckle, "Did she? Well everything you heard was a lie; Ms Ana Pearl, you remind me of a very dear friend of mine..." replied Will, his voice trailing off, as if he was reminiscing some distant but fond memories.
"Is that so? How dear is this friend of yours? Is he one of the bucanneers? Maybe I know of this friend?" asked Ana eagerly.
Will looked interested but Captain Turner interrupted, "Excuse me, but enough small talk, we must hurry, wouldn't want the Navy on our heels now do we?" she said looking pointedly at Ana, Ana returned it with an innocent look.
"Well Mr Turner, Will, if I may, since you are coming along with us, we can continue our little discussion on board, an old chum of yours is eager to meet with you." Ana continued, Will narrowed his eyes, clearly confused, but Ana just gave him a reassuring smile and nodded.
"We best be off eh Cap'n?" said Ana again to Captain Turner, and winked at Will.
Will gathered his belongings, plus a few newly made swords, axe's, and daggers, and followed Ana and Captain Turner towards the docks, where the Queen of the Sea was already preparing for the voyage.

Meanwhile Emil and Gibbs went back to the Drunken Sailor to find Miss Aimèe Sparrow, the Inn was still open, but only a few sailors were about. She had eagerly promised to come with them that day, but yet they had yet to see any glimpse of her. They had found empty rum barrels outside the Tavern and made them into makeshift stools and waited.

Gabrielle had been sitting quietly, for how long, she did not know. She had been thinking of creeping out of her little hiding space in the corner, to maybe have a look around in the room she was in, especially in the corner opposite her's, for there she saw bars; obviously it was the ship's jail cell. She would've checked there sooner to see if Gavin was there, but when she first got down below, she was more concerned with hiding herself. Gabby had just stood up, determined to sneak over and have a look, when she heard approaching footsteps. She quickly sat back down, and peeped through a little space between the crates that surrounded her to see who it was.
It was a man, with long dark hair and-- Wait a minute, she thought. It's the man from this morning! He's a pirate?!
Gabby watched as the man entered the jail cell with a jug of water. He crouched down out of her view, so she leaned forward a little bit and accidentally bumped into a rather large crate beside her. It fell, making a loud sort of scratching noise on the top of the crate it was sitting on, agaianst Gabby it fell, pushing her against the wall with a thud; she sat there motionless, trying her best to keep the crate steady, and not even daring to breathe. The man had obviously heard the noise, for he stood still and seemed to be listening. Then, after a moment, he left, and Gabby let out the breath she had been holding in, and as quietly as she could pushed the crate (which was quite heavy) back into it's place. Then she settled back down in her little corner, and upon realizing how close she had been to being found out, she swooned.

The three of them, Ana, Will and Captain Turner went towards the docks, the Queen of the Sea were quite ready to set sail, as all of their supplies had already been taken on board.
"Scrube the deck ye scabrous dogs!" yelled Captain Turner to her crew as they walked along the plank and jumped into the ship. She's getting better at the yelling though! Ana thought to herself and smiled, suddenly she remembered something she ought to do a little earlier.
"Excuse me Mr Turner, and Captain Turner, I need to go check on the brig, who knows, maybe there's a leak or something, and uh, I would also have to perform my uh, blessing ceremony down below."
The Captain looked at her questioningly, "Down below? That's quite all right, my ship is in perfect condition, I had it careened just six months ago!"
"Ah, a good thing, careening I'm sure, but this is a blessing ritual, for a safe and windfull journey, wouldn't want bad wheather or ill comings now do we?"
The Captain was still not convinced.
"It's a Sioux thing." replied Ana quickly and immediately went below deck. She wanted Gavin out of the cell, as he would never have forgiven them if he knew he had been kidnapped, along with Lydia in the first place, and Gavin's trust was crucial for Ana's plans.
The first floor below the deck was the crew's quarters, and the cell was located one more floor down, in the lowest part of the ship. When she approached them, she saw that the two captives were still unconcious, and there were two pirates on watch. Good!
"Oh gentlemen, such fine and strong privateers, would you mind, taking this gentleman, Gavin, up to the crew's quarters?" asked Ana sweetly, nodding towards the unconcious Gavin.
"Why should we? Tis bad luck taking a captive to the crew's cabin!" replied one of them.
"Is that so Skit?" the other pirate asked inquisitively, and the one named Skit nodded vigorously. "Aye! I heard it somewhere before!" he said. Ana managed a small chuckle.
"Ah! Lucky for you Skit, I know how to counter it, the man, or in this case the woman, asking for help, will then proceed to give the men, giving the help, three gold syilings each? Savvy?"
"Aye! Sounds good enough for me!" said Skit, and he unlocked the cell door, they carefully lifted Gavin and carried him upstairs. The rest of the crew was busy on deck preparing the sails and fortunately, Ana had a corner all to herself, covered by a flimsy curtain. She instructed the men to slowly place Gavin inside her hammock, and paid them three syilings each.
"Thank ye maties, now off you go!"
Suddenly Ana heard a distant scuffling from the back; where they kept their supplies and saw Jose disappearing back into his cabin. Odd, what was he doing lurking around there? Inspecting the supplies? Not likely, and it is not fair him getting a whole cabin all to himself! Ana then tip-toed towards the supplies compartment, but no one was about. She went back to Gavin and closed the curtain.
************************************* Ana climbed back upstairs, she noticed the wind was certainly on their side and she joined Captain Turner on the bridge, Will was also there.
"Lower the sails captain?" asked Tom, who was also the ship's boatswain.
"No! Not yet! Emil and Gibbs are not yet here!" said Ana quickly, Will was immediately alert at the very mention of Gibbs!
"What? Well pray tell, where in the world are they?!" asked Captain Turner, clearly starting to lose her patience.
"The Tavern! Getting some supplies for the voyage ye see? Some black jacks, you'll need them once the water turns sour-"
"Man the braces!!!" shouted the Captain ignoring Ana's excuses.
"Wait!" said Will suddenly, the pirates were now confused, and they held back on to the ropes.
"Let's go find them!" he said to Ana, and smiled at his sister, Captain Turner rolled her eyes. Ana smiled and left the ship with Will to go find Emil and Gibbs.
"I can't believe Gibbs is here, why didn't he find me? And why didn't you tell me sooner?! I knew there was something familiar about you. All those years I often wondered what happened to him after he sailed of with Jack two years ago, he abandoned the code and came back for Jack, on board the Pearl!"
"Yes, I know a little about that, although Gibbs have yet to tell the whole story, and YOU need to know the whole story." said Ana, her tone suddenly serious. Will looked at her questioningly, indeed he was very puzzled by this turn of events.
"Why? Is something wrong?" Will asked.
"Gibbs will tell you everything, but now we must hurry and find them, your sister might not wait for us that long!"
They immediately headed towards the Drunken Sailor, and hopefully find Aimèe there as well.

Calen sighed as she watched her brother and Ana's backs get smaller. Will always got round her some how .She shook her head at herself one smile and she let him do what he wanted. Calen Walked around the deck looking out to sea .The sound of the waves was calming and began to get rid of the headache she felt was comming on. Calen opened her eyes when she felt a presence beside her she turned and saw the spaniard jose is hs name she thought.
She looked back ou to sea and swore.
"Fuck!"
"What ?" jose asked
"TOM! BILL! GET WILL, ANA , GIBBS AND EMIL ON THIS SHIP RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!!" she yelled as she ran up to the top deck
"Captain?" Black Bill asked
"Bill thats James' ship on the horrizon and i don't want to be here when his ship docks understood!"
"Yes Captain" he said as he and Tom ran to the drunken sailor
"James?" Jose asked
Calen looked at him sharply
"Jose if you could start navigating our rote i would be very grateful"

Jose looked quite surprised at the Captain's orders to heave ho so soon. He had no idea who this James was, but the appearance of his boat on the horrizon had seemed to instill a bit of anxiety and maybe even fear in the Captain. That was enough to send Jose to his quarters in a hurry to pick out the best possible rout out of the bay and to the north. With the nearby reef and the shallow waters, all his skill would be neccessary.
Jose rushed to his quarters, and rummaged through his maps. Having found a detailed drawing of Port Royal and its surrounding area, he rushed top deck to where the steersman was manning the wheel. The sails were high and taught now, and the wind eased in to them. It would not be a wonderfully quick trip out of the bay.
"Captain," shouted Jose. "The wind isn't perfect right now! Maybe we should go to oars? But even so, how can we? Ana, Will, and the others have yet to return!"
Captain Turner seemed unphased. She merely shouted to some of the crew, "To the oars!" Several pirates ran below deck, and the grunting of strong men heaving against the weight of the water could soon be heard. If the ship was going any faster, it could was unnoticable. Jose merely prayed Ana and the others could board the ship before it was too late.
Thanks to Jose's quick navigation and thinking, and the helmsman's ability to follow orders decisively, the ship soon got the best wind available, and was on its way. The docks were receeding, and still Ana and the others were not in sight.
Having done his duty for the moment, Jose excused himself from the topside. Captain Turner granted his request, and Jose went below deck. The mysterious sound he had heard earlier was still on his mind. The ship adrift and all hands needed elsewhere, noone was around now. Jose passed by the prison cells quickly. He stopped in his tracks when he saw that only Lydia was there now. Where had Gavin been taken to?
Still, that was not what was most important on his mind right now. What was that sound? Jose approached some of the carts and boxes that were in storage. Everythng seemed perfectly canny. On the surface, that was. All the boxes were neatly stacked...all except a few in the very corner of the ship. There were some that had been moved aside and then moved back, it seemed. Jose squeezed behind the boxes.
Lo! There was a woman there. And it was Gabby from the general store. The maiden was lying on her back unconscious. She had a pack lying next to her, which was in all likelihood hers.
Jose thought quickly. If she were found onboard, she could land herself in deep trouble. And the mere fact that she was a woman, fair and beautiful to look upon, would land her in greater trouble with this rabble pirate crew. Jose shuddered at the thought of what they might do to her. He had to do something! He could not leave her here, nor let the pirates get ahold of her.
Not thinking much about the consequences, Jose wrapped Gabby in a blanket that was lying nearby. He picked her up as well as her pack, and carried her above deck. To any who saw them, it would appear that he was merely carrying something up from storage. Supplies of some sort. And indeed, Jose made it to his quarters without anyone saying anything to him.
He entered, shut the door quickly behind him, and locked it. He lay Gabby down on his bed, and unrolled her from the glanket. She seemed ok, and to be breathing well. The only thing that looked wrong was the bruise on her cheek. Jose placed some ointment upon the bruise. He walked outside the curtain, and drew it tight so that Gabby would not be seen by anyone who might have to enter the room to speak with him.
Jose hoped Gabby was ok. He also hoped he could successfully hide her and save her from harm from the pirates.

Ana and Will made their way to the Drunker Sailor, which wasn't that far away from the docks and found Emil and Gibbs still waiting outside the Tavern.
"If my eye weren't lying, I swore that's you Will!" said Gibbs as soon as they arrived.
Will smiled broadly. "Your eye is not lying Gibbs!" Will replied and they embraced. "Actually, what exactly happened to your eye?"
"Tis a long and sad story to be tellin you in such a fine mornin'!" answered Gibbs.
Suddenly Emil shouted, " Ana! They've dropped the sails! The Queen! Tis leaving!"
"What?" Ana turned and saw what Emil saw, the Queen was slowing adrift, and the crew was busy scurrying about, getting the right winds.
"I wonder what put them in such a hurry?" muttered Ana under her breath.
"We better hurry miss!" said Gibss, but as soon as they started to leave a voice called out behind them.
"Wait! I'm coming with you!" It was a young girl clad in men's clothes, it was Aimèe.
"I thought you would never show, and that spells the end of us all, the end of ever saving Jack!"
"What do you mean Ana? What has happened to Jack?" Will asked, his voice rising.
"I cannot tell you the details now, we must hurry and catch the Queen first aye?"
Will nodded reluctantly and they all ran as fast as they could towards the docks, fortunately the winds were actually holding the Queen back and her sails had to be twisted this way and that, so the ship haven't completely left the bay yet and there was still room to jump abaft the boat.
"AVAST!! Ye scurvy scalliwags!" yelled Ana to the crew who was busy abaft, they looked at her stunned.
"Give me a rope if ye know whats good for ye!" she yelled from the docks, the gap between the docks and the ship was too far to jump now.
"Aye!!" they called and swing one of the rope from the middle masts towards them. Ana grabbed hold of it.
"Ye all know what to do right?" Ana asked and her mates smiled and nodded; only Aimèe looked a bit uncertain.
"Emil, you take Aimèe!" Ana said and Emil nodded. Ana held on the rope tightly, walked a couple of steps backwards to get a running start and swung herself back into the ship, she passed the roped back to the others and they followed suit perfectly. Aimèe and Emil were the last to do so.
"Hold on to my back lil miss!" he said and Aimèe held on tightly and closed her eyes, for a brief moment Aimèe felt the ground dissappear and the sound of winds in her ears, they landed on board the Queen with a thud.
"See? That wasn't so bad was it Aimèe?" said Ana looking towards the girl with a smile. Aimèe smiled back and looked around the ship, she saw pirates busy securing ropes and heaving the sails and for the first time she felt at home.
******************************************
"Well Captain! What have you got to say for yerself?" Ana said to the Captain who was on the bridge, steering the ship out of the bay. "This is my ship and I don't have to explain anything, and certainly not to you!" she replied.
"Well aren't we a bit touchy this morning!" Ana said, Captain Turner gave her a warning look
Ana decided not to pester the Captain anymore, clearly the Cap'n wasn't in a very good mood, she signalled Emil, Gibbs, Aimèe and Will to follow her below deck; and opened the curtains into her quarters, there was a small table and a few wooden boxes acting as stools.
"Gents take a seat, Emil keep a sharp eye!" Emil nodded and guarded the entrance to Ana's quarters, which was only separated with the curtain.
"Gavin!" said Will as soon as he saw his best friend lying unconcious upon a hammock.
"Shh! Don't be shouting now! Someone may have heard that!" said Ana and looked around.
Will lowered his voice, "What exactly is going on? Tell me right now or I shall have to tell my sister about this!"
Ana looked at Gibbs, "Gibbs, tell the whelp everything."
Will turned his attention to Gibbs.
"Will, the Pearl has been hijacked a little over two weeks ago, never knew that would happen, but it has, I was lucky enough to have been stranded on Tortuga, but I believe Jack is still with them, held captive."
"What? But the Pearl is the fastest ship in the Spanish Main! How could that be?"
"Aye! That is true, but this other ship be faster than us, an their guns were better than the Pearl!"
Ana then interrupted, "Our plan is to get to Isle De Muerta, rescue Jack and get the Pearl back, I'm sure thats where they are! Plus Gibbs knows where Barbossa hid their booty on that island."
Will was silent for a moment, "Does my sister know of this plan?"
They both shook their heads. "Well except the booty, she knows of the plan to get that, and she's gettin 60 percent, a hard bargain if I do say so myself." replied Ana.
Suddenly Aimèe interrupted, "But how can you be sure that they are in that island you said?"
"Well lil miss, they would have want to conceal themselves, wouldn't want the Navy bothering them now aye? The Island cannot be found, lest ye already know where it is!" answered Gibbs to the girl.
"And that's where YOU come in Aimèe!" said Ana.
Aimèe nodded and brought out the little black box, which was now hanging around the girls neck on a piece of black leather string.
"Jack's compass!" Will said almost in a whisper. Ana smiled.
"Getting back to that whelp over there, we needed someone we can trust on this quest, I saw how well acquainted you were with him, so I politely invited him over." Ana said. "He didn't seem to complain.... much."
"Politely punched him to a severe state of unconciousness more like it, he would be furiously mad with us though!" replied Will under his breath.
"Well that's where you have to convince him, maybe he was attacked near the docks, because the pirates; with whom he had a row with before; haven't had enough of him, and then we found him unconcious on the docks, and that it was easier bringing him on board than taking him back home?" Ana suggested with a gleam in her eyes.
"You've planned this all along! And you suppose he wouldn't want to leave as soon as he is awake?" Will countered back.
"He can't leave, we are already adrift!" Ana said with a smile and leaned back; she folded her arms behind her head and put her feet up on the table.
"It's your call Will, Jack needs us." she continued.
They all looked at Will, waiting for a response.
"Alright, and I suppose I would have to tell him later that he 'accidently' had to follow us to save Jack?"
"That about covers it." replied Ana. "The whelp trusts you, and he must have known about your adventures with the Curse and all, and how dear our Jack is to all of us, and well, how dear the Pearl is too."
Will remained silent, clearly thinking about the whole proposition.
"Oh and one other thing, we kidnapped Thornton's girl." Ana said quickly under her breath.
"What!?" Will shouted and stood up.
"But we are going to release her! Well after we get the Pearl back that is, she's fine, I promise you, sleeping if you will!" Ana explained.
Gavin suddenly stirred, and they all turned to look. He tried to sit up, but the hammock was giving him a hard time, Will went to help.
"Will! Where am I?" Gavin stammered, and sat up with Will's help.
"You were attacked, at the docks, so we brought you here."
Gavin rubbed his cheek, and moved his lower jaw around. "I think I'm missing a couple of teeth" he continued and looked around. "Where is here"? he asked.
Will chuckled, "Welcome on board the Queen of the Sea mate!"

Jose could only look at his maps and charts for so long; he was getting very anxious. For one, he was worried about Gabby and when she would awaken and what her reaction would be. For another, he was wondering if Ana and the others would be able to reach the ship before it was too late. He didn't like pirates overmuch, but for reasons of his own, Jose dearly wanted Ana, Emil, and Gibbs on the ship.
There was a great commotion outside. Jose ran to the window, and saw a few figures swinging from the docks and onto the ship. A smile crossed his face, for Ana and the others had made it safely aboard.
Jose drew the curtain back from his bed to check in on Gabby. She was still motionless, but still seemed ok. Closing the curtain, Jose decided to take a brief walk on the deck.
There, he saw Ana, Emil, Gibbs, Will, and a new woman. He did not know her name, but she looked strangely familiar. His photographic memory serving him, Jose identified her as the serving girl at the Drunken Sailor. Interesting. Why was she here?
There was a pirate standing nearby. Jose did not know him well, yet knew his name to be Charlie. Suddenly, Charlie seemed to shake a bit. Jose looked to him in concern. And then it happened. Charlie coughed, sneezed, yawned, and belched all at the same time. He instantly fell over...dead. Jose gasped. He had heard rumor that one would die if all bodily functions struck a person at the same time. He had not believed it, yet now he had proof. "Eww," sighed the Spaniard in disgust. Several other crew members ran over to Charlie's body, and confirmed he was dead. Not being needed any longer, Jose carefully and discreetly stepped over Charlie's body, trying not to touch it, and walked back to his quarters.
There, he found that Gabby was still unconscious. Jose locked his door, and waited for the lovely maiden to awaken. He passed the time reading from Cervantes' "Don Quixote." Looking back at Gabby, Jose half fancied himself as the great Don and the sleeping woman as the most righteous and fair of women, the insurpassable Dulcinea el Toboso.

Lydia's immediate sensation upon awaking was one of extreme discomfort. Why on earth had she elected to sleep in her corset and gown? Sitting up she made a brief check of the gown - it was a little creased, but fortunately none of the trimming had torn. Then her eye fell on her wrist and she cried out in dismay.
As she had feared, that horrible man had left a bruise. That meant she'd have to wear long sleeves to Anna West's supper dance tomorrow evening, and they were so unfashionable this season. And she just knew that that catty Kristianna Sanders would comment on the inappropriateness of her attire.
She supposed she could conceal the area with cosmetics - like Peter Flynn had to do when he got into that major fight with William Johannson right before his wedding. Of course it didn't do him a lot of good, because although his eye was the normal color it was still quite obviously swollen shut. She couldn't help smiling a little at the memory, Katherine had been so furious with Peter she had threatened to call off the wedding.
The movement of the floor beneath her interrupted her reverie. What on earth? Only then did she notice her surroundings and her other concerns faded into nothingness. Her large green eyes grew still larger in fear. Where was she?

Calen frowned at what she had just heard .So Ana lied to me did she , she mused well maybe she might find out how much i dislike being lied to.Calen quietly stepped out from the shadows watching her brother lie to the young man named Gavin.
"great way to start of a jorney Ana , by lying to the Captain" Calen said in an almost whisper
Ana whipped around to face Calen
"umm i never lied exactly" ana muttered
Calen threw Ana a dirty look
"ok lets see if i got this right you really wanted my ship so you could rescue Jack Sparrow" Calen paused and smiled "why didn't you say so in the first place"
Ana stood looking at Calen in shock which caused Calen to smirk. She turned to face Amiee causeing the girl to back away a bit.
"if i heard correctly you are the one who should be on deck so come on" with that Calen turned on her heel , leaving everyone in shock, and walked out of the room and back up on deck .
"Bill are we out of range of James's ship?"
"only just Cap'in"
Calen nodded
"good "

They all looked towards the Captain, stunned, as she made her way back up above deck.
"Emil! I thought you were suppose to keep watch!" Ana muttered.
"I was!" replied Emil and searched the quarters.
"Just as I thought! A secret passage way here..." Emil said again pointing to a little ladder behind some wood paneling.
"Figures she would place me near that!" said Ana again.
"Well mates, I guess we should all head upstairs eh?" said Gibbs with a smile.
Suddenly there was a commotion down below.
******************************************
Lydia came to the horrific conclusion that she was no longer in her lavishly furnish bedroom, and there were .... RATS??!
"Ack!!!!!!! Get me out of here ! There's RATS... everywhere!!!" she shouted at no one in particular and jumped up onto a little box.
Skit , one of the two pirates who were on watch; walked over to her.
"Ye be lowerin yer voice now poppet! Wouldn't want bad luck!" he said and chuckled.
"Yeah bad luck to be yankering like that!" called the other pirate.
"Shut up Pike!" Skit yelled back to his partner.
"You! You're PIRATES!! Just wait till my father hear of this, and all of the Navy will come snapping at your heels!"
She jumped down and rattled the cell bars. "Let me out of here!! I have a supper dance tomorrow evening, and you would NOT believe how important that occasion is for me!" she continued screaming on top of her lungs.
The two pirates looked at each other, dumbfounded.
"Maybe we should gag her?" suggested Pike.
"NO! Don't you even think of touching me you filthy scoundrels!!" replied Lydia, and jumped back on to the wooden box. "LET ME OUT OF HERE! HELP!!!!!!"
Noticing that her skirt was wet, ".... AND THERE'S APPARENTLY A LEAK HERE! Have you NO idea how much this dress costs?! It was shipped here all the way from England! ENGLAND!!!! The finest silk! And now look at this... this MESS! I'll have my father charge you for this!!!!!"
****************************************
"I hear a woman's voice...." said Gavin.
Ana immediately remembered... the Thornton's girl!
"Ah! That must be... my cousin.. a distant relation, she's feverish, hallucinating and all, I better go check on her, you all go ahead up on deck!" she continued, Ana left them and rushed downstairs.
"What's the commotion?" she asked Skit. Skit nodded towards the screaming girl, who was currently jumping up and down on top of a wooden box, screaming, "LET ME OUT OF HERE!"
Ana rolled her eyes, "So she's awake now is she?"
"You! LET ME OUT OF HERE!" screamed Lydia as soon as she saw Ana.
"That's not up to me precious, I'll get the captain, maybe... see ye in a bit! If you can keep yerself from drowning that is." Ana replied and went back up to see Captain Turner.
The rest of her mates were also there; Will was guiding Aimèe on how to look at the compass; but he looked at her suspiciously as she was approaching the Captain.
"Sorry to interrupt Cap'n, seems the Thornton girl is wide awake and, shouldn't we, let her go, I mean, she couldn't go anywhere anyway, since we're already adrift." whispered Ana to Captain Turner.

Jose did not have to wait very much longer for Gabby to awaken, for he had only read a few pages when he saw her stir.
Gabby couldn't remember the last time she had slept so well, or had such pleasant dreams (all except for the one about her father hitting her and also that part about a kidnapping and a pirate ship). She strecthed her arms above her head, rolled on to her side, and snuggled closer against one of the pillows. Wait, she thought, I only have one pillow, and there are two here. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was not in her own room anymore, and someone was sitting in a chair across the room and holding a book. Gabby recognized him as the man from that morning. He put his book on a small side table, stood up, and walked over to her.
"Finally awake, I see," he said to her. Gabby sat up quickly and scooted away from him, at the same time getting ready to reach for her dagger just in case.
"No, no, don't be frightened," he said. "I am not going to harm you."
"Who are you? And where am I?"
"I am Jose y Ortega," he bowed, "And you are in my cabin on the Queen of the Sea."
"Then you are a pirate," she said. Although Jose did not like the thought of being called a pirate, he let it pass because he did not want her asking him too many questions, so he simply nodded his head.
"Now, I have told you my name, but you have not yet told me your's."
"Gabrielle Scott," she said. Jose took her hand in his and kissed it, just as he done that morning. Gabby didn't know what to feel; on the one hand she enjoyed being kissed on the hand by a handsome man, but on (or rather, with) the other hand, she wanted to slap him for being so forward with an almost complete stranger.

Hey guys ! I'm joining this wonderful RPG ! *************************************
"Oh non ! C'est pas vrai !"muttered the young maiden, looking at the "boat" she had stolen. It was more a "thing who can possibly float" than a little boat. But she had no choice. If she wanted to leave this awful life, she had to take it. She began to row, but she wasn't very skilled at it and the shore was still very close in spite of her efforts.
She started to panic. She had to find a way to escape this damned New Providence! If they happen to catch her again... She shuddered at the thought.
"The Américan Dream, The American Dream" she mumbled. "It was all b******t !"
She had arrived from France with the greatest dreams for her and the future. But everything had gone wrong and now she was here, trying to escape everything...
The young woman looked thoughtfully at her reflection in the sea. Brown eyes, long and curly brown hair... a petite brunette... She snorted and let tears of frustration fall.
Just then she heard a big noise not far from her. She rose her head and saw a huge boat coming directly over her.
"uh-oh !" she thought. She had barely the time to read the ship's name : The Queen of the Sea... and she fainted.

Calen nodded at Ana's words
"Bring her up here to me Ana" she requested
Ana nodded and turned her back to Calen to go back downstairs.Calen turned to look out on the horizen when she saw it .A small boat with it seemed no-one in it .Then she saw something move slightly with the waves, a person.Calen moved fast .Soon that person would be under the boat and dead .She grabbed a rope and half swong ,half lowered herself to the small vessel. "Gabrielle Scott," mused Jose. "A beautiful name for a beautiful woman. Not Spanish, but fair all the same." He said these things as if to himself, and only now looked once again at Gabby. She was blushing. "Senorita Gabrielle, what brings you aboard this ship?"
Gabby hesitated. She shrunk back a little again. "You might make me walk the plank," she said sheepishly and somewhat afraid once more.
Jose laughed slightly to himself. "I assure you, my dear," he said in a comforting tone. "I would do no such thing. I do not believe in using the plank, and i have no plank of my own. And making you walk the plank would be a waste of a pretty face and a gentle heart, I think. So no, I would do you no harm. Rather, consider me at your service!" Jose bowed.
"But," repeated Gabby. "You're a pirate, aren't you? They serve only themselves, and their word is worth nothing."
"I am no pirate," said Jose calmly. "I am only a navigator and cartographer. I long to be a knight, much like my countryman Don Quixote was. Have you read his story?"
Gabby shook her head no. "Well," went on Jose. "I am no pirate. You have no need to fear me. Now tell me, why are you here?"
Gabby relented, feeling she could trust this man a little. "I came looking for my brother. I already know the pirates kidnapped the one rich woman. And as my brother Gavin was with her when I last saw him, I assummed he might have been taken as well. " A tear rolled down Gabby's cheek.
Jose offered her a handkerchief, and she took it. "Worry not," said the Spaniard. "I shall try to help you. On my word as a gentleman. But, you must also stay here, hidden in my room. For pirates are a wiley lot, prone to evil and licentuous ways. I fear for what they might do to a nice young woman as yourself."
At that moment, there was a great commotion outside. "Stay here," directed Jose. "Hide behind the curtain on my bed, and don't come out unless you hear me enter. I have an English translation of "Don Quixote" over there if you'd like to read it.
Jose rushed out and back on deck. Almost all the crew were looking off the starboard side. There was a small raft down below with a woman lying upon it. "A fair damsel," exclaimed Jose. "A fair damsel in distress!!" His chivalrous nature took over, and he realized he had to rescue her. Taking a long run, he dove overboard, shouting as he went, "Fair maiden, I come to thee! The jealous Ocean desires to yet again be the fairest of them all, and would drown you to become so. I shall not let that happen! I come!"
SPLASH!!! Jose was in the water, and swam over to the raft. He was just about to rejoice at the posibility of rescuing the woman, when he saw that someone was lifting her up already, and being hoisted on a rope back up to the ship. Jose slammed his fist down on the raft. "Drat! Foiled!" He dove back under, just as the raft was broken to shreds by the giant ship.
Jose was lifted back aboard by a rope in the same fashion. He bent over trying to reclaim his breath, and stood there like a water-soaked cat. On the other side of the ship, Captain Calen had just let down the unconscious woman. "Ah well," sighed Jose. "Don Quixote had to go through similar failed adventures in order to acheive his final glory. I shall be no different. I shall have to rescue this woman some other day. In the meantime, I'll just have to make sure the pirates treat her well."

Tom was looking angry as he saw the Captain Calen come back on the ship with a youg and unconcious woman.
"Capt'n ! There are too much girls on this boat !" he exclaimed. "our trip is going to be a disaster !"
"And why ?" asked Calen rather maliciously.
" well err... ye know... Women on a boat are not a good thing..."
"I am you captain right ?"
"yes Capt'n !"
"So I will decide MYSELF what to do with this lass, understand ?"
"Yes Capt'n !"
And with that, Tom returned to his task.

Gwenaëlle coughed and opened her eyes slowly. She felt dizzy.
"Où je suis ?" she managed to articulate. "Chuis morte ?"
Her vision began to focus and she saw that several persons were looking at her rather suprisingly.
"Oh I'm sorry. where am I ?"
"You're on my ship, The Queen of the Sea" answered a woman with long dark hair, seeming relieved to see her understand English. "I'm the Captain Calen Turner. What's your name ?"
"I'm Gwenaëlle Delaroche m'lady"
The woman laughed heartily at the answer. "I'm not a lady, you know"
Gwenaëlle didn't know what to say. But she was wondering with who she had end up with.
