Setting - 1655, Port Royal, Jamaica.
A small boat came to the docks of Port Royal, a boom town in the middle of the caribbeans, it was nearly dusk, and the sun was slowly setting in the horizon. Port Royal, where pirates, buccaneers, corsairs, slaves and outlaws come to mingle in a huge melting pot of outlandish earthly pleasures, namely women and rum.
However, Port Royal was not always a pirate haven, before, it had a Governor, and it even had a small British Naval Base, but with the on-going attacks of pirates, the Queen instructed Governor Swann with his daughter Elizabeth, along with the Navy Fleet, to retreat and build a new base in New Providence Island, not far from Port Royal.
Two people were on board that small boat, and one of them tied it up to the docks.
"Good, no one is here, we haven't got enough syilings to pay em if there was!" said one of them, a slender, long-haired woman. She swiftly climbed up to the docks, but as soon as her legs stood on the ground she wobbled and almost fell.
"Damn sea legs!!" she cursed.
"Careful cap'n!" boomed another voice, a hugely built, bald man said from behind her. His single silver earring shone in the dimming light.
The woman threw her hands up in the air. "Emil!!! How many times do I have to tell you NOT to call me that!" she said, and fell almost completely backwards.
The huge man caught her just in time, "I don't recall you ever saying that cap'n!" he said.
She steadied herself and stood upright, "Uh... I didn't? Well I'm gonna say it now, don't call me that, it'll only bring unwanted attention, which I don't need right now. Savvy?"
"Alright ca- I mean Nahimana!" He laughed a hearty laugh and they both walked towards one of the more frequently visited taverns in Port Royal - The Drunken Sailor.
*******************************************
They entered the tavern almost getting knocked by one drunken privateer with two women in his arms laughing and gigling.
"Watch it!" Thundered Emil, the pirate looked up at Emil and immediately rushed off with the two women.
"Emil! No attention, please? All I need now is a good rest." Nahimana sighed and looked around; the Drunken Sailor was partly full, bustling with all sorts of people imaginable, mostly pirates and easy women. There was even a show on, a man is singing a song, but no one was really paying any attention.
They sat down in one corner and ordered their drinks, trying to rest, since they were quite tired paddling their boat.

"Aimèe!!!" A voice thundered up the stairs.
"Hang on I'll be down in a minute!" Aimèe yelled in return. She sighed and swept her long hair up into a bun and ran down to the bar. Her mother greeted her with her arms folded and a stern looke on her face.
"Day dreaming again I'll bet." She mocked. "Ships and gold and pirate captains. Ha! Girl when will you learn that this is all you got? Now get in there and earn some or you'll be out of 'ere before the sun comes up!"
Aimèe ran into the bar to be greeted by the usual sight, brawling drunkards, Pirates and the local women busy getting 'acquainted', numerus people trying to flog stuff and those mysterious strangers that manage to spend a night at the inn without ever stepping into the light.
"Excuse me?" She heard a voice come from the opposite end of the bar, Aimèe looked up from the rum she was pouring to see a dark haired woman leaning against the bar.
"What?" She laughed. "Sorry, don't mean to be rude miss but that ain't a something we hear in here very much. How can I help ya?"

A ship pulled in to the dock just before sundown. It was a magnificent ship as black as the day is light , each of the sails shone like the sun .A perfect white , all except one , just above the crows nest a black flag flew it bore the mark of a skull and crossbones .It was clearly a pirate ship . The gang plank was lowered and a tall woman began to decend from the ship followed by the crew .She was tall with dark brown hair which was pulled back in to a braid she wore mens clothing from head to foot and carried a sword at the side. She was approached by the keeper of the dock .
"You have to pay to keep your ship here you know "He told the woman
"Really ?" she said clearly unfazed
"Yes 3 ginny and i need your name and the name of your ship " he remarked " ummm if you please" he added after sharp looks from the crew
She handed over the money
" My ship is called The Queen Of The Sea and my name is Captian Calen Turner . Now if you could kindly point out the dircetion of the taven and get out of my way i won't cause you any more trouble"
"ummm it's that way " he directed Calen and her crew
" good boy " she said as she walked off
***************************** Captian Calen and her crew entered the taven and her crew imidiently zoned in on the women and the rum .
"Oi u lot !" she Yelled at them " remember you have to be able to work the ship tomorrow so don't get too drunk or i might have to leave you here"
"yeah sure you would lass we believe you" the first mate called back
Calen smiled somehow they never beileved her "one day i will have to carry through my threats" she muttered to herself as she made her way to the bar

Gabrielle had always loved this forest. The palm trees and other tropical plants that grew wild and free. The melodious songs of the exotic birds. But her absolute favorite part was the waterfall that fell into a small pool which turned into a gentle river that flowed out to the sea. She would often go swimming in the pool, but not today. Today, she lay down on the soft ground next to the pool, where she could still hear the waterfall, and the birds singing. The air was thick with the scent of flowers and... burning bread?
Gabby's eyes shot open. Much to her dismay, she was no longer in her forest. She was once again in the small kitchen at the back of her father's general store, and she had once again burned his dinner.
"Oh no, not again!" she said, as she jumped out of the little chair she had been sitting on and ran over to the stove to get the burning bread out of the oven.
Without grabbing a dish towel, she opened the oven door and pulled out the bread.
"OW!" she cried as soon as her fingers came into contact with the bread. She threw the loaf on the floor, and quickly stuck her burned finger in her mouth, trying to ease the pain. She heard someone chuckle from behind her.
"My poor, darling, little sister," Gavin, Gabby's older brother, said. "Having a hard time?" he asked with a grin.
"I haven't the slightest idea why you're laughing... it isn't funny! Oh, father's going to kill me," she said, very worried. Lucky for her, he wasn't home at the moment.
"Don't worry," Gavin said reassuringly, as he walked over and gave his sister a hug. "Here," he handed her a schilling, "run down the street to the bakery and buy a loaf of bread, and while you're gone, I'll get rid of that." He pointed to the charred thing that was still lying on the floor. "Father will never know the difference." He winked at her.
"Thank you, Gavin," she said. She gave her brother a peck on the cheek, and was out the door.
"Gabby!" He called after her.
"Yes?" she said, popping her head back inside the door.
"Hurry back, it's almost dark out."
"All right, I'll be quick!" and she flashed him a smile and was off again.

Nahimana, or Ana for short, and Emil quietly waited for their drinks when suddenly a strikingly pretty young girl appeared and was pouring drinks behind the bar.
"Psst! Emil, don't you think that girl there, looks..familiar?"
Emil turned to look, "Aye cap'n, I mean, Ana, she does look amazingly... like..."
"Aye! She does inherit her father's features, Sparrow! Only she has blonde hair, wonder whats happened to him....." her voice trailed off and her thoughts went back to her days on the high seas, and how they used to work together on board the Black Pearl, how it all seemed so long ago.
"I really do miss that crazy ol bastard!" said Emil.
Suddenly a rather plump old man with an eye patch over his left eye sat in front of them, he looked rather anxious, but to Ana, he looked familiar as well.
"Long time no see eh Ana?" Ana and Emil looked at the old man wide eyed.
"Gibbs? Is that really you?" asked Emil half in disbelief.
The old man smiled, showing a whole row of teeth capped in gold, and silver in a few places. They embraced and quickly sat back down.
"This is indeed a good day to meet old friends again! I was beginning to think you're all dead!" said Gibbs laughing.
"Me? Dead? Don't be ridiculous!" said Ana laughing, only to be followed with Emil's silence.
"Well, almost dead, but I'm fine, I mean, we're fine now!" They all laughed again.
"Gibbs, have you heard from Sparrow, are you all still on board the Black Pearl?" asked Emil.
Gibbs face fell, and he casted his eyes downwards and lowered his head.
"Sparrow is gone....."
"What? What do you mean gone?"
"Our ship was hijacked by one of the corsairs, but I wasn't sure who they were, only their ship was red, red as the burning sunset and they had a curious white flag with a red dot in the middle, we were on our way to Tortuga that day. They were vicious Ana, vicious and fast, even faster than the Pearl! And they had better pistols and cannons than us. I told Jack to jump, but he wanted to defend the Black Pearl, next thing I knew, I was stranded on Tortuga and I took a ride on a privateer back here.
They fell into a heavy silence.
"I dont' believe he's dead! He must have found a way, ANY way to escape, I've known him before, even though I wasn't with you all during the fight for the Black Pearl with Barbossa, but I was with him all the times before that, and by God, luck is on that man's side. Listen, I'm gonna ask that lass over there, I have a feeling she might know something, I'm going to find out!"
Ana made her way to the bar.
"Excuse me!" said Ana to the girl as pleasantly as possible.
"What?" The young girl shot back, but quickly laughed "Sorry, don't mean to be rude miss but that ain't a something we hear in here very much. How can I help ya?"
Ana was stunned, the young girl looked so much like him! It brought back so much memories...
"That's ok lil miss, uh, I'm Ana.' She held out her hand and the young girl cautiously shook it.
"I'm Aimee..."
"Aimee....?"
"Sparrow"
Aha! Ana smiled to herself.
"Sparrow, I used to know your ol man, a magnificent man he is!"
The girl's eyes widen.
"You knew my father?!" she said in an almost shocked tone. Suddenly a woman came bustling towards them.
"Aimee! Don't be talking to strangers about things you shouldn't be nosy about! That's enough! Go back upstairs!!!!" The young girl tried to resist but the woman hustled her back upstairs.
"Listen you, you scum! Don't be messing around with my daughter you hear! I don't ever want to hear Sparrow's name be mentioned in these parts. Enough he left us broke and miserable, don't be putting foolish pirates fantasies in her head! Now leave my tavern immediately.
Ana raised both her hands, palms outwards.
"Calm down, lady I didn't mean no harm, I'll not bother you anymore."
Ana joined Emil and Gibbs back at the table.
"She knows something......" she whispered.

Lydia Thornton viewed the deepening darkness with dismay. She had somehow managed to get separated from the rest of her party and she didn't particularly like the look of the street she was in. Nervously, she tightened her grip on the shaft of her parasol, sidestepping and narrowly avoiding colliding with a man whom she was almost certain was intoxicated.
She needed to get home, but she had no idea which direction to head, and these were not the sort of streets in which one wanted to wander aimlessly in after nightfall. And there seemed to be no sign of a cabbie or a policeman she could ask for help.
Suddenly her eyes lit on a sign hanging above the doorway of an inn of some sort - the Drunken Sailor. Certainly not somewhere she would ordinarily frequent, but surely they would have a private room or two available. Thankfully, she had enough money on her for that.
She hesitated on the threshold, her green eyes widening in surprise. Men were shouting, and swearing - things she couldn't even understand but she was sure she should never have heard. And the women - Lydia's mouth fell open in shock as she saw one heavily painted woman sit on a man's lap.
Anxiously Lydia looked around for an innkeeper of some sort, but none seemed to be around. She spotted a matronly woman serving drinks, but as she moved to speak to her, the woman disappeared towards the back.
As Lydia stood there wondering what to do next, she realized someone was speaking to her. Puzzled, she turned to see who had addressed her.

Calen moved towards the bar and stood next to a young woman and two men who were deep in conversation. She turned around to lean against the bar looking out to the rest of the tavern she decided that she had to keep an eye on her crew because as good a pirates as they were she knew if she didn't stop them from going over board here she would end up sending them overboard once they got going.
"oi miss" she said to the barmaid " you wouldn't happen to know when i could stock up my ships larder would you?"
"Be with you in a second miss.....?"
"Turner, captain Turner"

"She knows something..." said Ana as soon as she sat back down and joined Emil and Gibbs.
"But what? I don't think the girl even knows her father." said Emil. "Poor lass, she would have been proud to know who her father was."
"We must go after the ship Gibbs, we can't fail Jack, not now..."
"But we're penniless, shipless, and crewless m'lady. Don't think we'd do any rescuin' any time soon." replied Gibbs.
Suddenly the door burst open again and a stream of bucanneers came pouring in, no doubt they came together, and behind them strode a woman, she was clad in men's clothes, much like Ana herself, but this woman had a noble quality to her, very smart and her attire was well kept. She spoke to her crew sternly but she was a bit too soft to her lot in Ana's mind.
"You know her Gibbs?"
"I don't believe I do Ana, a captain by the looks of her, the world is coming to an end! I still think men should steer!" said Gibbs cheekily with a glint in his remaining eye.
Ana shot him a wry look, "I do not find that in the least humourous Gibbs."
The woman made her way to the bar, and all that Ana could hear was. "Turner, Captain Turner."
"Hmmm Captain Turner, ain't she the one with the Queen of the Sea? A fine ship too I heard." said Emil.
Ana smiled and turned to Emil, "I feel a change in the winds tonight Emil!"

The barmaid came back over to Calen a thoughtful look on her face
"Hummm u wanna stock up you say" she repeated thoughfully
"Yes "replied Calen "and quickely too"
"Ah well theres plently of places round here you just have to look" and with that she walked away
"some help she was" Calen muttered
She looked at the ring on her hand and began playing with it .It was the only thing she had from her father, William Turner, he sent her it the same time he sent her brother that pendant .She sighed sadly as she thought of her brother, she would never admit it to her crew but she missed Will, she smiled , she missed having to look out for him.

Aimèe stood silently on the stairs listening to the converstion between her mother and this stranger that seemed to know more about her then she did.
"Pirates!" She whispered to the empty hall way. Her face lit up and a huge smile crept on to her face. "My Dad's a pirate!"
Her Mother hardly ever spoke of her Father, he left them when before she was old enough to remember him. When Aimèe questioned her mother about it she told her that he was a merchant that passed away when Aimèe was young.
The young girl turned and ran up the stairs. She went up to the attic where her room was, took her hair out of the bun, lay on her bed and shut her eyes, waiting for the next order off her mother to come bellowing up the stairs.

Ana overheard that Captain Turner wanted to stock her ship. Ah! An opportunity! She smiled and approached the Captain. Emil and Gibbs just shook their heads and waited.
"Captain Turner, I've heard so many wonderful things about you, a magnificent captain! Wonderful! Superb! I even heard you've sailed the seven seas and been to Singapore is that right?"
Captain Turner turned towards this mysterious woman, clearly a bucaneer too, with long black hair, but braided in a few places, and a single gold-capped tooth.
"No, you heard wrong, I have never been to Singapore, now if you would just excuse me..." The Captain tried to squeeze her way out but Ana blocked the way, laughing a seriously fake laugh.
"Oh! I'm soooo sorry, just that you look so much like another Captain Turner, I, uh, used to know, maybe she was your mother? Father? Cousin?"
At each guess Captain Calen shook her head, "You're clearly wasting my time."
"Alright, I admit, I want to be on your crew, I been a pirate all my life, same goes to my mates Emil and Gibbs over there. We been on the Black Pearl before-"
"The Black Pearl you say? But it's not even a real ship!" interrupted the Captain.
"If you let me join you, you can see for yourself if it's real or not, plus the the treasures on Isle De Muerta, where Barbossa and his damned crew abandoned their wealth, it's beyond your immaginable dreams m'lady."
The Captain thought about this for a moment, "I have heard about Isle De Muerta, but it does not exist. Stop wasting my time."
"Would it make any difference if I say you take 50 percent of the plunder?"
"75"
"You drive a hard bargain Captain, 60 percent, think about it, and only I know the way."
Captain Calen fell silent and thought about this, they are only three people, what harm could they do? Plus, she was quite curious about this mysterious woman. Lastly she held out her hand. "We have an accord; miss....?"
"Ana, Ana Pearl."
"Alright Miss Ana, but, you are to stock my ship and pay for all the supplies, if you do not; I'll have my men feed you to the sharks."
Ana was stunned for a moment, but quickly smiled to cover her nervousness.
"OF COURSE! He he he heh heh. Uh.. I'll be right back.." Ana darted back to Emil and Gibbs.
"Are you crazy Ana? We could not possibly afford that, and FURTHERMORE we do not KNOW the way to Isle De Muerta!" said Gibbs in a forced whisper, trying to control his rising voice, afraid any of Captain Turner's crew might be hearing their conversation.
"Yes, yes yes yes, I know, I know, I know, but she doesn't know that! Besides, I think I know the way, hopefully, if my memory serves me right!" said Ana with a twinkle in her eyes. The others didn't look so convinced.
"Though I have been there more recently than you; I dare not say which way is to the Island of the Dead!" said Gibbs, clearly worried.
Emil just shook his head again. "Oh Ana, what have you gotten us into now?"

Aimèe woke a few couple of hours later - she had drifted off into yet another dream about sailing the seven seas on a pirate ship.
As she stood up, she could still hear the usual noises coming from down stairs, so the inn was still full and it wasn't all that late. Aimèe changed her clothes, brushed her hair into something more presentable and began to make her way down stairs.
When she got to the top of the second set of stairs down, she looked to her left at her mother's bedroom door. Without thinking she opened it and went in.
Aimèe stood and looked around her mother's bedroom. She had been banned from entering this place for as long as she can remember. She didn't know why, but suddenly she began to route through all her mother's belongings.
After about ten minutes she came across a little box in the wardrobe. She took it, sat on her mother's bed and put it on her knee. Slowly she undid the clasp and pulled back the lid. In it there was a strange looking compass.
Aimèe didn't know where this came from, she couldn't remember ever seeing it before but yet it felt familiar. Forgetting the small wooden box was on her knee, she stood up to put the strange compass in her pocket. The box fell to the floor with an extremely loud clatter. "Ohno!" she whispered. "Aimèe!" Her mother's voice came from the bar below "What you doing up there?"
Aimèe picked up the box, shoved it back in it's place in the wardrobe and ran down the stairs to her mother. "Nothing mother." She smiled as she resumed her place behind the bar

Calen watched this Ana out of the corner of her eye for a while before calling over her first mate
"BILL!!!" she yelled
Black Bill walked over to her .
"Yes lass?"
"You see that woman over there" she pointed at Ana " i want you to keep an eye on her , a careful eye on her "
" will do lass"
With that he went to sit near Ana , he was close enough to see them and over hear the conversation she was having with Emil and Gibbs. Calen turned back to the bar to see a young girl come down .
" 'scuse lass you couldn't help me could you , only i'd like to know where the blacksmith is i have some work for him?" she hoped this girl would be more helpful than the other woman.

Lydia turned to find herself facing a balding, overweight man who reeked of an odor she did not particularly care to identify. As he viewed her, his oafish face split in a grin, revealing several missing teeth - and several others that in her opinion the dentist should have removed as well.
Trying to conceal her grimace of distate, Lydia inquired as to what he wanted and was shocked to hear him suggest that she accompany him somewhere without a chaperone, and she didn't think he merely wanted to talk with her either.
Flushed with embarressment, she slapped the offender and made to move away, only to find her wrist caught in a painfully strong grip. His smile had vanished, and unpleasant as it was, she found it was far more appealling than the anger that now appeared in his beady eyes.
"Not so fast, sweetheart," he replied, his hand still gripping her wrist in a way she feared would leave bruises later. "Its not nice to just tease a guy like that. You're going to learn some manners before I'm done with you."
The situation was incredibly innapropriate and remarkably distastful, and Lydia looked plaintively for someone to come to her aid. But to her dismay she realized that most had not even noticed her plight, and the few who had were laughing.

Aimèe got to work straight away, running backwards and forwards, serving people at different ends of the bar trying to keep away from her mother.
She'd just picked up a tray to go and collect some empty glasses when she heard a voice from behind her.
" 'Scuse lass you couldn't help me could you , only I'd like to know where the blacksmith is, I have some work for him?"
Aimèe spun round to see a tall woman who was obviously a pirate. She smiled. " 'aye miss, the blacksmith's right on the other side of town. But y'needn't travel all that way tonight. I mean, the blacksmith's a good man, but he's not so good at his trade y'see." While Aimèe was talking to the woman, she was wandering round the inn collecting things on her tray and shoving leering, drunken pirates out of her way as she went. The woman was following her. Aimèe reached a table in the corner and put her tray down on it. "now this is the man y'want to see, his name's Will. Will Turner."
The young man sat at the table smiled, "Hello Aimèe, your mother still not giving you any time off?" "Y'know me, Always happy to work, happy happy happy." Aimèe rolled her eyes. Will laughed. "I think I found you some work Will" Aimèe turned to the woman standing behind her. "This is Will Turner. Will, this is... come to think of it she never said." "Captain Calen Turner." The woman spoke out.
