Summer - I'm thinking that I'll introduce Nev sometime after we cross the Misty Mountains (which we will on our way to Lorien, if I'm not mistaken). I'd intro her sooner but I want to play with my hobbitses for awhile. Milla - I don't know where Phoenix (what's with the astericks, btw?) could come in... maybe since she's friends with Gandalf she would also know (if not personally, than perhaps by reputation?) Elrond, and he could summon her to the council because having a powerful being like her around could prove to be an advantage? Also, I think I should mention (just so we're all on the same page geographically speaking) that the Hobbit village is about 100 miles west of Rivendell, and that there is a forest between the two, and a road (the Great East Road) runs under the forest from a bridge near the village called the Last Bridge all the way to Rivendell. And I'd suggest that everyone refrence that map I posted a link to in my last post, since it looks like in this rpg that we'll be going to quite a few different places. I think it'll help us get our bearings of where we are and where we're going and it'll also help everyone get an idea of where the characters come from.

yeah those astericks are annoying, had to change the file name for my siggy to show up and my username too *pouts*
And yes that's a very good idea Niph', I guess Phoenix does know Elrond, albiet only slightly perhaps, from her travels of Middle Earth as she would have visited Rivendell and Lorien seeking the company of elves.
BTW, hope no one thinks my character is odd or anything with the whole summoner thing. If it's too over the top I can change it.

Why do those asterisks show up? *confused* anyways okay then Phoenix is summoned to Rivendell too. Hmm about her abilities, I don't think it'll be over the top if she doesnt do it all the time, or if it's not so easily done.

it takes up a lot of her energy so Phoenix wont be doing it all the time. just when it's really needed.

I don't wish to be a bother, but on your last post Tancred there was no mention of me. Is Isotta staying behind with the remainging hobbits? Becuase you stated that only hobbits stayed behind. Yeesh, now I am confusing myself

*gasp* Tancred left poor Isotta! Um Tanc, where are these trio galloping off too? I'm kinda confused, Arthedain or Rivendell? Cos, Amrod was summoned to Rivendell by Elrond. Milla - I fixed it, seems phoenix was a censored word! lol i had no idea how it got that way though *scratches head*

Ah, you're right, Athena. I did forget about Isotta. Sorry about that. I'm getting confused with all the characters. I'll edit and add her back in. And Summer, we're heading for Rivendell. Tancred was just trying to get rid of Amrod by suggesting he return to Arthedain. And even though Amrod was summoned to Rivendell by Elrond, that still doesn't mean he has leave from the army! Mwahahahahaha!!!

Even if Islotta was forgotten, she'd be taken to Rivendell with the HOBBITSES. The carts are on their way.

Tanc, about Amrod, he's not a military man He left Numenor to wander the woods, and joined some rangers, but now he left them. He never was in the army. Just wanted to get that straight. Hehehe ;D But I found a way around it in my latest post hope its okay! Milla! I just remembered, you know bout Beorn right? He's a skin changer, he can transform himself into a bear, maybe he parted some wisdom or something to Phoenix.

Hey Summer. My computer and msn have been acting weird, so I didn't get to Open Seas at all last night. But anyway, sorry about the goof-up. So Amrod's with a band of nameless, non-affiliated Rangers? Would that make him a...bandit? He, he! Well, only problem about him having left Numenor...by the time the rpg takes place, Numenor has been sunk under the ocean for about 1,800 years.

Hey, I have a question. Did we ever establish what time of year it is, i.e. spring, summer, autumn, or winter? I think it'd be good to decide on a time now; it'd make it much easier (and make confusion less of a risk) when someone is describing their surroundings (budding flowers in spring, changing leaves in autumn, etc.), and so we know what kind of weather conditions that will best fit in the story... wouldn't want a blizzard in one post, and unbearable heat in the next, would we. I vote early spring. What do ya'll think?
