Ai-yi-yi, Nilph! Those Legolas photos were just killing me! Click here to go to the official Lord of the Rings website and you'll find ROTK pics all over the site. The image quality is awesome and there are pics from the Paths of the Dead, the Lair of Shelob, etc. It's really great!

Um ... I think it's just you. ;D LOL!!! No, I'm joking ... I must admit, these pictures are daaaaaamn sexy! You know what's a good way to get some extra Orlando before ROTK comes out? I don't know about you girls in the other countries, but in the US the TTT DVD has already been released (yesterday) and there are some AMAZING extra features that have so much Orlando stuff you'd be amazed. Now I don't want to give anything away, but let's just say Orlando takes off half his shirt. So if you don't want to wait forever on the internet to download Legolas pics or if you think you just won't be able to survive four more months for ROTK, then rent the DVD!

This is what I think. I am currently trying not to view all the ROTK trailers since I want the movie to still hold some its surprise elements. I don't want to see Shelob, I don't want to see more of the movie before it actually comes out. Does anyone else have the same feelings?

Yes, but only because I haven't read the third book yet and don't want any story spoilers.

*GASPS LOUDLY* You're a non-reader? Ahhhhhh! Then I will strongly advise you to do so! The books are soooo good, and very different compared to the movie. The films are all very melancholy, even in the happy scenes. But the book is the opposite, very perky when it's sad. LOL! I don't know, it's hard to explain ... just trust me and read the books! And if you can, before ROTK comes out, but I doubt that will happen since it took me at least 2 months to read the entire trilogy. Anyway, READ THEM!

I know what you mean about the books, I've read the first two. (More detailed and not as rushed as the movies.) I just got a bit lost in all the words of RotK and I'm taking a break from it... I don't find the books as easy to get into as some people do.

That's the trouble I have, between schoolwork and catching up on sleep and the internet. I'm chapters away from the end of A Study in Scarlet and I haven't read it in a week. (Then again, I know the storyline and that something bad is going to happen and since I've left it at a fairly optimistic place I'm somewhat relunctant to continue.)
My granny posted the Sil to us a year or two ago. Apparently it was my mum's when she was a kid, though she had trouble getting into Tolkien as well. So far I've just looked at the pretty fold out map in the back.

Well, I guess it's how you react to Tolkien. Me, I find it very interesting, I just zoom right through them. It's different for everyone though. One of my friends read it in a week, another took TWO years. But still, persevere! You won't regret reading them!!!!!!
