Kira fired the rifle into the air and a loud band filled the ship. For a moment, the pirates were distracted, and that distraction was all Kira needed to duck away. Ducking a weaving through the pirates, Kira ran all around the deck. Leading several of the drunken pirates to chase her. She spotted three of the women being subdued by a large croud of pirates. Lydia, Susanah and Gwen. With a tightened resolution, Kira ran right into the croud of pirates that surrounded them, and the pirates that chased her ran into them. Pandemonium ensued as each tried to figure out who was chasing whom. Kira knew this would be her only chance. Grabbing the three women as best as she could, she pulled each of them to their feet. The women were to dazed to argue or even to realize what was happening to them. However, as they were each encumbered by their heavy dresses, they were fast losing ground and the pirates were beginning to catch up. Kira's heart began to sink, and she feared what would happen if they lost the dangerous race. Suddenly, out from a corner stepped a man, that Kira recognized as a pirate. Acting fast, Kira jumped and twisted her small frame and kicked out blindly at the man. With a small oomph, they both fell to the deck.
Suddenly, from behind a corner stepped Gabby.
"It's all right, he is here to help us" she told Kira
"What" exclaimed Kira, "Whoops, m'bad" she muttered as the man gingerly got to his feet with help from Gabby. He shot he a glare but his face quickly changed to one of fright as he heard how close the band of unruly pirates were to them.
“Come this way” he shouted and he began to run off with the women following him
Kira risked a look back, the pirates were close onto their tale, the pirate whose nose she had broken was right in the lead and shot her an evil glance. Kira looked ahead. She rcoginzed that they were running towards Jose’s cabin, but why? Well, for whatever the reason, Kira realized that they would never make it unless the pirates were slowed. She looked around frantically for something that could stop them. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a barrel. Kira gulped but hardly breaking stide she called out
“Don’t stop, whatever ye doin’ keep runnin’”
Then she tossed herself to the barrel and shoved it with her foot. It was tied shut to the deck. Kira swore to herself and then began to apply herself to the knots. Once she finally untied it, she looked up, the pirates were nearly upon her! She shook the barrel and tossed it towards them, out of the barrel came all the pirates rum for their journey. The barrel crashed and splintered upon the floor and the rum splashed out soaking the deck and making it slippery. Several of the pirates slipped in the liquid and soon all the pirates were skating across the deck. Kira knew that soon they would get tangled, but hopefully it would buy them enough time.
Kira climbed upwards the mast and went around to the outside of the ship. Hanging on for her life, she managed climb around the outstide of the ship and she eventually came to right under Jose’s cabin. She heard voices muttering inside, and she called out,
“Ho, any of ye wanna’ give me a hand here?”
Swiftly the man’s face appeared and he dragged her up over the window and into the cabin. Once inside, Kira stood and faced the three other women and the man. She smoothed her rumpled shirt down with trembling fingers and asked the man,
“Who do ye be?”
The man replied, “Charmed I am sure, my name is Derek Bennet”
Suddenly Lydia interrupted “It is certainly nice to meet you sir, however, I think we have a bit of a problem” and she motioned towards the door to the cabin.
Kira cocked her head and then she heard it. A loud hammering and banging at the door, the pirates had caught up and they were beginning to try and bang open the door. Kira felt a table behind her. As Gabby and the other women showed Derek, Jose’s concealed trap door, Kira investigated Jose’s desk further. Upon it were several daggers, swords and various other weaponry. Kira raised one eye brow, impressed despite herself. Then she quickly grabbed all the weapons and tools that seemed likely to help, and she stuffed them under her shirt. She turned around when she heard someone say her name
“Kira” asked Gabby
“Huh?” asked Kira, hoping that they hadn’t seen her grab the weapons
“I asked, are you ready to go, we have to leave now. The pirates are going to break in any minute now”
“Escape where? How?”
Gabby rolled her eyes, “Escape from this ship. Or do you wish to stay and greet the pirates?”
Kira listened to the furious curses and yells that were coming from behind the door. “Escape, right, good plan. I think that pirates can do without me for right now”

"Um, if you two birds are through chatting, we kind of need to escape now!" Derek said. "Right, so who goes first?" Each of the women peered over the edge of the trap door into the sea water below. No one moved, or even spoke. Finally, Gwen broke the silence by muttering something in French and jumped into the cold water. She popped her head back out of the water, and said, "Come girls! It's not so bad. Hurry!" and with that she went back below the water and swam under the ship to the surface. Lydia followed after her, and then Sussanah. "Go Kira!" said Gabby. Kira held tight the weapons concealed under her shirt, and jumped into the water.
"Right, you're next." said Derek, as he pulled Gabby over to the trap door.
"No wait!" Gabby yelled as she pulled away from him. She moved towards Jose's desk, and began searching through the papers and other things that lay on the floor. "Oh! Where is it..." she mumbled.
"Where is what?" Derek asked, the sounds of angry pirates getting yet angrier. "What on earth are you looking for you stupid woman! We have to go! Now!". Just then Gabby stood up, clutching something in her arms but what it was Derek could not tell. "All right, let's go." she said. She took a deep breath, and plunged into the water, Derek close behind her.

Even as Gabby and Derek dived through the hatch, the door to Jose's room burst assunder. In ran George the Blade and several other pirates. They saw the cold and still body of Ed lying in a vast pool of his own blood. And then their eyes and ears fell on the still open escape hatch. George got down on his hands and knees, and looked through the hatch. Just in time to see two dark figures drop the last few feet from the rope and into the water.
George beat his fist against the floor of the cabin. "Damn that Spaniard," he cursed. "He's a smart one; a step ahead of us, it seems."
"There go our women," moaned the other pirates. Some looked as if they were actually about to cry.
"Not to worry, mates," shouted George. "We'll get them back! I give you my word!"
One pirate had been kneeling over the body of Ed. "He's dead, George," he said. "Stabbed through the throat. I think I saw him enter this room with that Gabby wench. Ed was a good mate!"
"And we'll make that woman pay for what she did," said George, trying to console and encourage those there. "Now, all of you...go topdeck and look for any signs of where these lasses are swimming to!"
All the pirates left the room with a yell. George himself knelt down by Ed's body. "Well, my friend," he said silently. "I did not expect this. I shall definately avenge your death on that crumpet!" George leaned back a little in deep thought. "Still...I must admit I owe that Gabby a bit of grattitude. After all, I am now the captain of this ship and not you! Good ol' Ed!" George took everything of value off of Ed's dead person, including far more than the amount of money he had suppossedly stolen from him before during the whipping incident. And he had yet to rummage through his personal effects in and under Ed's bed. George patted Ed on the chest, said, "Thanks mate," and ran out of the room. **********************
Before he reached topdeck, George heard the sound of gunshots. He rushed off to the starboard side. There, most of his men were leaning over the rail and taking shots at the feminine forms swimming a good ways away. The escaped prisoners were obviously heading in the direction of the island their friends had been marooned on earlier that morning.
George rushed at all of the men, yelling. "You fools," he cried. "We don't want dead women! Those are no good. CEASE FIRE!!"
The pirates did so, but not before two of the swimming figures cried out in pain, and went limp in the water.
"Idiots," screamed George. "Don't shoot them! Turn sail and rudder, and cut them off so we can pick them up!"
"We might not want to do that," said a pirate who had just swung down from the crow's nest. "There's a ship on the northern horrizon."
"Right," said George. "We should probably swing in a different direction to avoid detection. But we'll have those women before long!" He shouted orders, and they were obeyed. George was now Captain George the Blade of the Queen of the Sea.
Had the fog not been so bad, the pirates would have noticed that not only was there a ship to their north, but also one to their east. And one to their west....

Kira swam valiently along with the other women and the man, however, she had been born and bred in the city and she couldn't swim very well. The other's had mostly shed their heavy shoes and heavy dresses and were swimming fairly easily from what Kira could see.
Once again a wave swamped Kira, saltwater rushed into her mouth and into her eyes. In blind panic she stopped and struggled to wipe the salt from her eyes. Her arm's felt like leaden weight's as they struggled to kick and propel her through the water. Kira felt herself begin to fall behind, try as she might, she was getting tired. Up ahead, she saw the dim outline of Gwen. With a surge of strength, Kira kicked furiously in an effort to go in front of the others.
Suddenly she heard a whizzing sound go past her ear and hit someone in front of her though she couldn't see who. Then a blossom of pain interupted in her leg. Kira rolled her eyes up in agony. She stopped swimming, unable to what with the tiredness and the pain. She started to sink, unable to move, and she thought she dimly saw the outline of a ship or two from the corner of her eye.
Right before her head closed under the water, she began to cry out in the hope that someone would help her. Suddenly, a wave broke right over he and her cry was silenced by the ocean. Down she sank towards the bottom, dimly seeing the ocean above her, then merciful blackness claimed her as she lost conciousness.

"Huh? Wha... wha was that?" slurred Ana groggily, she almost passed out again when she heard another one. A gunshot! She wiped her eyes and stood wobbly on her feet, she had the weirdest dream of promising to be someone's squire. The notion! But she was surprised to see her sword lying beside her on the sand. Hmm how odd.
The bonfire they made earlier was already starting to dwindle, but she could see Captain Calen pacing back and forth, or at least she thought it was Captain Calen.
"Cap'n! I here shots yonder!" she said and wobbled towards the Captain. The Captain turned to her and gave her a distasteful look.
"Yes! Shots! And you're too drunk to be of any use now! I fear the worst, but why would they shoot the wenches!" grumbled the Captain, almost to herself.
Ana plopped down, and a gust of sand flew out in every direction. She scratched her head, and smoothed down her sand tangled hair, trying her best to sway off her drunken state.
Suddenly Jose spluttered, seems Ana made some sand fly into his open mouth. "Opps! Sorry Jose! Well, I don't think they will shoot them, unless! Unless, unless, unless........" At this point Ana was stumped, and she scratched her chin thoughtfully.
Suddenly Jose, who was sleeping, raised his hand, "Unless they jumped down from a secret hatch, that I, Jose y Ortega, the genius, secretly made, and they are now on their way here, and that is why those putrid pirates are shooting at them." he said.
Both Ana and Captain Calen looked at the sleeping man.
"Oh Jose! You're so brilliant! I could just kiss you!" said Ana in her drunken state, she clambered towards him but kissed his boots instead.
"Yes I know." he replied. "And why are you kissing my boots?"
Captain Calen resumed her pacing, "I'm worried they might be hurt! Or WORSE! DEAD!"
At that point Jose suddenly stood upright as quick as lightning, "Oh no! My sweet Dulcinea!"
"Who's that? And you sure know how to lighten the mood don't ye Captain! And before anyone jump into morbid conclusions, we just have to wait here, and see." said Ana, and cupped her chin in her hand.

Lydia had been doing fine until the shots rang out. It was of course wildly innapropriate to be swimming in little more than her petticoats, it was in fact inappropriate for her to be swimming at all, especially in the presence of a man. If she'd had time or energy to think, she would have been blushing furiously. Mama would probably have an attack of the vapors if she knew.
But Father had insisted she learn to swim. He'd practically lived on his ships, he knew how dangerous the water could be. It was the one thing that he had overruled Mama on. So she had been managing - which wasn't particularly easy, as she still had her corset on - it would have taken far too long to get it off.
But then the water next to her had exploded. She heard a cry - and another one shortly after that. It sounded like gunfire. Water was rushing in Lydia's ears, she turned instinctively toward the sound of the first cry and saw nothing but water.
Striken, she dove, her eyes open and searching. Something brushed her arm - cloth! It was the Frenchwoman - what was her name? Lydia siezed the wrist of the unconscious girl and made for the surface. Her lungs were screaming at her, it somehow felt as if there wasn't enough air in the world for the task. She surfaced, pulling the girl - Gwen? - up with her, doing her best to keep her head out of the water.
Behind her she heard shouts, but her ears were to full of the water to make out any words. She had her hands full anyway; she could only pray that the others were alright, that they had helped whoever else had been hit. The shore in front of her seemed an age away, but she started towards it, knowing that if she hesitated she might very well not have the strength to finish.
Progress was slow and torturous and try as she might the girl's head kept ducking under the water. She was also terribly afraid about the amount of blood the girl was losing from the wound in her shoulder. The shore neared, and she could make out the figures of the marooned pirates. Her captors. Funny that she should now be Happy to see them. Her strength was giving out.
No not now. I am not going to swim all this way only to drown in the last hundred yards. She could see the others running towards the water, it was really so close. Lydia lost consciousness.

Captain Calen still kept and eye towards the horizon, and thankfully the moon was shining tonight.
"Wait! I see something! In the water!" she yelled back to her fellow marooners.
Ana stood up, and squinted, yes! People swimming! Jose clambered up and ran to the shore, he took out his telescope and peered through it.
"My Gabrielle! I see her in the water! I curse myself for not seeing this sooner!" said Jose and eyed Ana acusingly.
"Don't blame me! Blame the RUM!" she replied, Ana went over to Emil and woke him up. "The girls are in the water, where's Gavin and Will?"
"What?" said Emil and stood up. "The lads went off to look for more wood." replied Emil, suddenly Gavin and Will came out of the bushes carrying more wood.
"Hurry lads! The girls are in the water, a few yards, not that far, we have to help them!" said Ana scurrying towards the men.
"Lydia!" cried Gavin, he released all that he was carrying and rushed towards the shore, by this time most of the girls are approaching the sandy beach; they were nearer than the marooners thought they were,
Jose rushed in and helped Gabby who was the first to arrive to shore, she was shivering and breathing very hard trying to catch her breath, "Some... are hurt!" was all that she said as Jose lead her to safety.
Susannah was next to arrive, along with a strange man, Ana attended her while Captain Calen addressed he stranger, who now collapsed on all fours, panting for breath.
"Who are you?" she asked raising an eyebrow.
"I'm... Derek... Derek Bennet..." was all he could muster and collapsed right there.
Gavin's eyes searched the waters, "Where is Lydia? And Gwen, and Kira?"
"I do not know for sure.. I fear they might be hurt!" replied Gabby weakly.
Suddenly there was a loud cry coming from the waters, "There! I see them!" cried Emil, and both Gavin and Emil went lunging into the cold depths.
The water was icy cold and neither could see anything for a few moments, but fortunately the cries were audible enough to guide them, suddenly silence....
Emil swam frantically and his hands bumped into something, it was Kira! He held her face above water and swam back to shore. Ana rushed in and helped the poor girl, and to her horror, she was bleeding, the wound was coming from her right leg. Ana ripped the cloth covering her leg and examined the wound, fortunately it was a small wound, but Ana feared it might get infected.
Gavin however was still swimming, he went up to the surface and a glimpse of white against the dark sea caught his eye. Lydia! And he went to that direction. It seems Lydia has lost consiousness, and Gwen who was barely awake, was holding on to her, fortunately they were already very close to shore, and Will and Emil went to them and pulled them up to safety.
Gavin attended the unconcious Lydia, while Captain Calen and Emil attended to the weak and bleeding Gwen. "She's been shot at the shoulder." said Emil grimly, and Captain Calen nodded, her face serious as she examined the wound.
Suddenly Gibbs came by and sat by them. "Probably happened when she was towing the rich girl!" he nodded towards Lydia; who was being attended by Gavin a few feet away. "No wonder they went under, her petticoat alone probably weighs more than a horse!" he mumbled.

Kira dimly felt herself being towed out of the water and onto dry land. However, the pain in her leg was still agonizing. Suddenly a rather rough hand brushed against her and Kira squinted open her eyes against the too bright sun. Suddenly, the strong odor of rum hit her nostrils and she wrinkled her noise. Gingerly she moaned, and several excited voices were to be heard
"Hey look she is awake"
"Thank heavens"
"She was still for far too long"
Kira's throat ached from the salt water and it felt very dry. When she tried to speak, her voice rasped so that no one could hear her. Ana leaned her head closer to Kira's mouth in an effort to hear what she was saying.
"What's that?" asked Ana
"Ye rotters....ye drank all the, rum....not one sip for me..."
"When you get better, ye can have all the rum ye want" replied Ana with a smile
Kira closed her eyes. The sun really was too bright, and the sand felt cool beneath her. Her leg still hurt, only now it was a throbbing pain that seemed to have spread to past where the bullet had hit her, she hoped that her leg wasn't injured overmuch. The effort of speaking had cost her dearly, she still felt dreadfully tired, and the slightest movement and sound caused her pain. Even the normal background noises seemed jarring and peircing to her heightened hearing. Kira felt her head throb painfully, and her eyes felt swollen and sluggish. The sun beat mercilessly down and for a moment, Kira felt herself once again drowing. At this, she felt into a swoon, a dark dreamless sleep that none could awaken her from, including herself.

"We should get them into some shade, the sun is risin'!" said Gibbs, and they all carried the weak and wounded people into some shade.
Suddenly a loud "Cuckow!" rang through the air. "What was that?" asked Kira weakly.
Ana looked up, a black falcon, quite a rare sight among these parts, were circling high above.
"Don't mind him! He's.. he's mine." answered Derek.
"So you're the spy?" asked Captain Calen and she started to charge at him.
"Don't hurt me! Or else that will be the end of you trying to get off this pitiful island, I shall have my falcon send him a note to come here, I believe Jose can estimate the bearings."
Jose, who was sitting nearby, keeping an eye on Gabby, stood up and looked towards the horizon, "I should think the falcon might not have to go very far, is that not James's ship?"
Captain Calen stood, and so did Ana, "I believe it is so." came her answer.
"I can't believe it! Jose! Give me your telescope!"
"I beg your pardon miss, nobody touches this telescope but me!"
"Aye! But she's now your squire, she has to learn these things right?" iinterrupted Gibbs suddenly. They both looked at him in puzzlement.
Ana grabbed the telescope anyway and ran right up to the water, she looked west, where two ships were slowly drifting away from sight. "It's the Pearl!" she exclaimed, Ana scrambled back to her party. "Hurry with the note Derek! We need James now, and we need the help of the surgeon on board his ship!"

So there the marooned companions sat or lay on the beach. The sun was now at about the third hour of the morning, and the fog had begun to lift. And what should the clearing of the skies bring, but the sight of four ships somewhere on the horrizon. Jose, reclaiming his periscope from Ana, gazed from right to left at each ship. The closest was the Queen of the Sea with its mutinous crew. It however, was retreating. "Most likely due to the sight of the other ships," thought Jose to himself. Almost dead even, but still a good distance both from each other and from the island, was Captain James Hawkins' Royal Navy ship and (as Ana had pointed out) the Pearl. Furthest away was another ship, and Jose could not make out the flag that flew from its mast nor what type it was due to the distance.
And here were the spy Derek Bennet, Calen, and Ana talking about boarding the Royal Navy ship. Jose did not like the idea of that at all. And he said so. "My friends, I do not see the cause or reason for boarding that ship. Mr. Bennet can if he wishes. As for myself, I will not step foot on it."
"But I've made an accord with James," said Calen.
"That means nothing to me," replied Jose. "How can we trust it? Maybe you can trust this James, but I can not. And why should we go on that ship? Some of you here are pirates. Do you think James or any of his crew will not take the opportunity to turn you all over to the gallows, accord or not? I've seen offers of rewards up for pirates. Even if James himself were to look the other way due to the accord, some of his crew might not. And what of this accord Calen made? Part of it, no doubt, states James will have a share in whatever loot we might come across. Is that fair? Was that accord with that clause made with any of our knowledge or agreement? No! So why should we be bound to it? Calen might, and that is fine. But she is no longer captain of a ship. And therefore, I will no longer be taking any orders from her, as Gibbs pointed out earlier that he would not either."
Calen looked a bit dejected at this, but said nothing.
"But what about our wounded," pointed out Emil. "They need medical attention."
"I'm thinking the Pearl will have that aplenty," said Jose. "Besides--Ana, Emil, Gibbs, Will--are you not eager to see your friend and compatriot again? Aimee, are you not greating desiring to see your father?"
Smiles crossed their faces, for the unsaid answer was an obvious "yes."
"Very good," said Jose. "I have no captain, and I follow no orders. However, I myself am not a captain either, and I give no orders. All of you are free to go to whichever ship you wish." He looked at Gavin and the unconscious Lydia. "Some of you, having been impressed onboard your last ship, may indeed wish to go with James. It would mean the most swift return home to freedom."
Jose left them all to their thoughts. He peered again through his periscope at the approaching ships. The one furthest away was still indecipherable, and it troubled him for some reason.
Ana soon joined him. The Spaniard spoke to her silently, saying, "You know, all this talk of choice of ships will be for naught if Jack and the Pearl don't get here first." He sounded worried.
Ana merely laughed and said, "Ah, its the Pearl! Of course it will get here first!"
Somewhat comforted, Jose returned to Gabby. The young woman was sitting next to the fire, slightly reclined against a palm tree. She looked utterly exhausted. "Are you ok," he asked. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm tired," she sighed. "But I'm doing much better."
Jose stumbled through his next words. "Gabby...I don't think I can fully explain why...but I can not go aboard the English captain's ship. I just can't. My path is already laid out for me, and I must follow it. Maybe I can tell you why soon. But for now, getting away from this island and aboard the Pearl is something I have to do. I will miss you. But I will return to Port Royal as soon as I can, and be with you again."
Gabby looked surprised. "What is all this talk of Port Royal and parting," she asked. "I am going with you."
Jose's jaw dropped slightly. "But Gabby, if you return with James, you will be able to go home with Gavin. Onboard the Queen, you were little more than a prisoner. You would have your freedom now. And you would be safe."
Gabby smiled and rolled her eyes a little. "Jose," she answered, "I am safe with you. I know I could return home. But for right now...there is nowhere else I would rather be than with you. Where you are, there also do I want to be."
Jose blushed a little, and Gabby drew him closer for a kiss.
About an hour later, the Pearl did indeed make it to the island first. Just as Ana had said. It came as close to the shore as it could. Fortuneately, those of the companions who had been wounded and unconscious had come around now. They were quickly apprised of the situation, and left with their choice of where to go. Those who had decided to go to the Pearl, began to wade out. The wounded were carried. Jose himself carried the exhausted Gabby; she had had enough swimming for one day.
A large pulleyed basket was lowered over the side of the Pearl, the same kind used to haul heavy cargo aboard. Jose, Gabby, and the others who wanted to join the Pearl were lifted up upon it and on to the deck.
There, standing above them and at the wheel of the ship, stood none other than Captain Jack Sparrow.
Gabby in his arms, Jose looked at Ana to his right. The shine and smile of her face at seeing her old friend was enormous. Jose looked puzzled. "Squire," he thought to himself. "Did Gibbs say Ana was my squire!?"

"Jack! How did you know we were here?" asked Will as soon as he was on deck, they embraced.
"Well boy, I would hardly able to ignore that ten foot fire, and with all the shooting last night, I was sure there was something wrong." he replied, his hands never leaving the tiller.
Captain Calen stood behind Will, at last, she is now face to face with Captain Jack Sparrow, she heard so many great tales about him, he was almost a myth, a legend, and yet, here he is, only human, and a bit drunk from the looks of it. Captain Calen cleared her throat, a signal for Will to introduce her.
"Oh JACK! I almost forgot! May I introduce my sister, Calen Turner." said Will
"That's Captain Calen Turner, Will! Captain Sparrow, pleased to make the acquiantance, it shall prove profitable, I hope." said Captain Calen Turner
"Your sister! Well I'll be, hmmm Captain Turner, it is indeed a terrible thing a mutiny, to be sure, and I share your grief, but on this ship, there is only one Captain love, and that's me. Savvy? So are we all here?" bellowed Jack to no one in particular. "Mr Cotton lead the wounded into the surgeon's quarters" he continued.
"Yes we're all here!" replied Ana, "and you better explain how you got away, according to Gibbs, you're supposed to be hijacked by some mysterious red flagged ship! And we were worried to death about you!" she continued.
"Is that you Ana Pearl! Have you forgotten love, I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, but that red flagged ship; he's still on our tail." he added quickly.

Kira was carried up to the Black Pearl. A bandage was wrapped around her leg, however, she could hardly walk on her wound. So, she was being forced to be carried like a baby in in Emil's arms and she grumbled the whole time. However, despite what she said, Emil just ingnored her. Finally they reached the deck of the Pearl, and Kira smoothly slid out of Emil's arms and landed on the deck, hard. Scowling, she made to stand, but her leg crumbled underneath her. Towering far above her, she noticed Emil, trying not to laugh at her attempts to stand.
"Oh shut up" she muttered
"Very well" said Emil, still trying not to laugh
He then picked her up and put her on the deck, so that her legs were touching the floor, but he was supporting her so that she couldn't fall. Suddenly Kira noticed a pirate staring at her, and Ana was holding him as if he was a dear friend. The pirate stepped forward towards Kira, she raised an eyebrow quickically at his strange stride, that seemed to make him roll around and he seemed very drunk.
The pirate made an elegant bow towards her,and spoke
"And who do ye be?"
Kira replied, "I am Kira, and you?..."
The pirate strainghtedned up as if hurt, and he put one hand over his heart,
"Lass, I am none other than Captain Jack Sparrow, I am not one to be forgotten."
"Ho no" said Ana stepping forward
"Well, I am sure tis nice to meet ye and all that, but I be 'fraid that I desire a bit o' food. Just a spot. Ye see, saving people be hard work, 'specially if they were drowing and all that" said Kira
"Oh, if I seem to remember..." said Ana
"Well, there are alwasy two sides to a tale" cut in Kira, "Now, about that food"
"And medical needs" siad Emil, "some of our people are sorely injured, and some are just permantenly injured mentally wise" he siad looking down upon Kira
Kira scowled up at him, "Aye and some are, are. are, too big!" she replied

Aimèe hung around at the back of the group, trying not to be seen. She had spent all her life wanting to meet her father but now that he was there she had mixed feelings towards him. Throughout her life Aimèe had thought of her dad to be some kind of hero, a place for her to put her hope after the downfalling of her mother. But Jack was... not what she expected.
Gibbs saw the worried look on her face and came to comfort her. "Come on now lass, he's the reason ye came ain't he?"
Aimèe sighed - "Yes, but now that I'm here I really don't see the big deal, I think I'll jus-"
"GIBBS!"
"Oh Shit..."
Jack Sparrow came striding... rather drunkenly, through the crowd towards Gibbs and Aimèe. "Gibbs, these lot are all on the brink of starvation, and so, need feeding, savvy?"
"Er.... of course." Gibbs, although used to Jack's actions had the somewhat scary feeling that since their last meeting Jack had got even stranger. Aimèe had never been so scared in her life.
"But first!" Gibbs quickly added before Jack started up again, "This is Aimèe. Aimèe Sparrow."
Jack looked at Aimèe. The look on his face was deadly serious - but then he smiled. "Oh really? That be the same name as me! Haha!" His expression grew to one of utter confusion, "hang on..."
