At the moment I'm watching a programme called The Salon. It's a reality TV show based on a hair and beauty salon.
They've just had this woman in for a manicure. She had 1903 piercings. 1903!!! She had them alllll over her face, tongue, hands, butt, thighs, stomach, etc. She even had 200 in side her.
Now, I haven't got a problem with this, but quite a few people on the programme did. What do you think?
Do you like piercings and tattoos?

Tattoos are fine by me, I have a few and planning to get some more and I have a few piercings too, I'm not following anyone or trying to look cool or anything it's just I wanted something that I loved to be a part of me, ya know?
And I think piercings look good on a girl, but 1900-something piercings is just freakin crazy. I'd probably be really freaked out.

See now, I am a wimp. I have two earings, one in each ear. I wish to get more in my ear (actually I want 3-5 each) but seeing how I am scared of pain...
And same goes for tatoos, I would dearly love some sort of small tattoo on the small of my back (either pirate thingy, dragon, snake, or something from LOTR) but again, seeing how I don't like needles...

I have 13 piercings and two tattoos. The reason I only have two tatoos is that it's kinda illegal for me to have them so it's hard for me to get them done.
I love them! I find them really, really attractive on blokes and I like to have them on me because...well I just like the look of them to be honest.

One thousand nine hundred and three piercings?! Isn't that a tad bit excessive?? How does she sit down?? Never mind, I don't want to know....
Let's see, I want to get my ears pierced, just one in each ear... I was supposed to get them done for my Sweet Sixteen, one and one half YEARS ago, but that hasn't happened yet... later on I might get another in each ear but I'm not really sure if I want to or not.
As for tattoos, I don't think I'll be getting any, not my thing. They look good on some people though, i. e. Johnny Depp. *cues smilie where hearts pop out of head*

lol! I'm working on that smiley, it likes to run away from me lol!! awwww here's to wishing you get your piercings this year  As for me, I like tatoos and piercings, I think it looks good, but only if it was done tastefully, and too many piercings on a guy is a definite turn off for me though, but I don't mind the tatoos. I think I once saw this picture of a lady with her face full of piercings! She looked like a nightmare *I was really scared*  And I dont really like guys wearing earrings, and the only piercing that I find attractive on guys is the eyebrow, don't ask why. So my conclusion is I like tatoos on guys better than piercings on a guy, but I like them both on me lol! Errr did that make sense? |

I have my ears pierced and my navel too. I'd like to have my eyebrow and my tongue pierced too. Tatoos are cool but I don't think I'd have too many, maybe one on my lower back or the top of my thigh. A phoenix most probably.

That many piercings I think would bother me.
That said I think piercings (within reason - I mean you need some skin between them) look good, and that Tattoos can look great.
I will probably never get another piercing than the one in each ear, but at some point I do intend to get a tatoo on the small of my back. Don't know what yet (the place is certain though)

I've got my ears peirced, nothing else. My mum said she saw that episode, she says it was disgusting. But she's just recently had her belly button peirced. She's in her late thirties!!!

What if they just really like the look of them and want one for themselves? In my experiance, they are not doing it because they like the look, they are doing it to hold onto their fading youth. But, alas, my knowledge of this is a bit limited if you know what I mean |
