hello, i'd like to join, but i'm a bit overwhelmed with the numbers of posts in the pirate RPG! lol. could you give me a quick explanation of relavent info? i will read the rest eventually but after reading the first page, i dont think i can be patient enough to read all 28+ pages before i get to post! (although i would deffinitely read them all as i go)
please give a fellow pirate a hand, so he can join in before the tide turns too many times.

well im mod of that board and if u have read the rules u will c that one of those is you MUST read the rest of the rpg before joining AND you MUST do a trail post in the pirates rpg disscussions thread before posting on the main thread

It might be an idea to actually register here, as you can acess more of the boards as a member.

*refrains from making sardonic comment towards Krys* Welcome to the Open Seas, JF Stark, and I hope you enjoy it here.  As Nixy said, it would be a good idea for you to register, if you have not done so already, and as Krys aka Calen aka Mrs. Dan Hawkins pointed out, yes the rules do state that you must read the entire rpg before joining, but let's be realistic. A friend of mine wanted to join a few months ago, and for her I typed up a summary which I could and would easily update and post somewhere on the forum (perhaps in the discussion forum). And it would be a good idea, as you said, to read the entire rpg as it goes... help you get a better feel for the characters. And of course, once you've read this summary of mine (which I'll get up as soon as possible) then you would need to post a description of your character(s) and definitely put your first post in the discussion thread so we can give it the all clear. And if you're confused about something going on in the story, just ask your questions on the discussion thread and we'll help you out. |

i saw the rules, and i know i have to read it, which isn't at all a problem for me because i love to read - but i've been reading it for five days now and i'm only on page 8. ack. it'll take another 15 days before i can even think about posting. *shivers at the thought*

awesome, i just read that you'll be starting a new pirate RPG soon, so i won't have to read all the pages that are up right now..lol :-p i've lurked about since last i posted. you might remember me, i was the complainer about the "read it all" rule. i still havent been able to get thru the largest chunk of it. anywho, looking forward to the new RP |

yeah you might be waiting for a while as we still havent finished this one and we have a few ahem problems to sort out btw just so you know even if you had read it all you couldnt have joined now anyway
