I read in an interview somewhere, that Johnny's inspiration for Jack Sparrow was from rock and roll legend Keith Richards (of Rolling Stone). Which I understood, but he also said something about a cartoon character, which I forgot Any info about this? Thank you!

Jack Sparrow was a work of genious i thought, the character was just so funny, his attitude, the way he walked, excellent

Yeah, it was the sleazy skunk Pepe Le Pew, LOL! ;D They just showed a rerun of him as a guest on Jay Leno and he said it was a cross between Keith Richards and Pepe. Which I thought was interesting and HILARIOUS.
