From ComingSoon.net: Any doubts as to when we will see the new trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King were erased today in the USA Today, which reads that New Line will release a 3-minute trailer for the third and highly-anticipated installment with Secondhand Lions on September 26. "Lions" actually opens this Friday, so the trailer will be in theaters starting its second weekend. We're hearing the trailer is composed of almost all new footage and that you'll be seeing it online possibly even sooner. Well, all I can say is YAY! ;D

I read somewhere that it's attached exclusively to the movie Secondhang Lions, Crazy. (which makes sense, as SL is a New Line movie) But! if you don't want to see this movie, you don't have to because starting this Monday, September 29th, you can view the trailer at lotr.net;D

Here's a tidbit from theonering.net that the people in the UK will like....
No Secondhand Lions in the UK? No Problem! 9/25/03, 1:22 pm EST - Xoanon
We've had tons of emails from desperate UK fans wanting to know what, if any, film the ROTK trailer will be attached to in Cinemas this weekend. Well handy Andy has the answer!
I've just had word from Warner Village cinemas in the UK that they will be attaching the following films from Friday: The Italian Job, Calendar Girls, Once Upon a Time in Mexico & Some copies of Bad Boys II

Aww! Don't cry, Nilphy. I'm replying to your thread. I'm late, but I'm replying! *comforting HUGS* Well, I did see the trailer, and I loved it! The last minute or so really gave me goosebumps! There's room for error here and PJ has screwed up on some parts in Fellowship and TTT, but ROTK is going to rock so hard!! And you should view the trailer, too, Summer. *picks up Summer on a belt loader that he borrowed from work, places her on the belt, and runs the belt so Summer bumps right into the trailer* Ok, that didn't make much sense, but *in best Hamlet voice* get thee to the trailer!! ;D

Hrm...I still haven't seen the trailer yet and everyone around me has. Now, before all of you die of shock, I merely want to say that the reason I haven't seen the trailer is because I don't want any preconcieved notions of how ROTK is going to be...other than totally awsome of course.
May I also say that this is using all my self control, sometimes I amaze myself.
I think I deserve an award for this.
A pretty shiny metal.
Yeah, I need to get out more.

So in actuality, you don't wanna see the trailer? **psst psst click here Athena! ** JK! But I have seen the preview! And it was awesome, it was almost all Pellenor Fields related, and might I add, Legolas looks as heroic as ever, oh and yeah the returning king too.

I am a clicken' Summer, but nothing is showing up Well, there is actually one other reason that I have not seen the trailer yet. See, I don't have Quicktime and I am not allowed to download it due to my stupid eternal computer troubles. Hence, no Quicktime, no trailer. That and not having time to go to the movies to see the trailer there. So that, and the reasons I stated above
