Well here's my character, it the same as on my own RPG (with one sentence difference marked in bold) because I am too lazy to change it Name: Milla Wren Nickname: milady (Jack Sparrow's pet name for her) Age: 25 Sex: Female Physical Description: 5ft 8, slim, beautiful, long wavy golden brown hair, icy blue eyes Background Information: The illegitemate child of "Captain" Barbossa, Milla was brought up by her mother Maria Wren, in Port Royal. Although her mother despised Milla's father she could not tempt Milla away from finding him. History: A determined girl, Milla first found Barbossa when he was first mate upon the Black Pearl, the time when she also met Captain Jack Sparrow, a name and face that she would remember and admire for a long time. Milla wanted to get aboard the Black Pearl to meet her father and so she guessed that the only way she could do this was to hang out with their rivals (the crew of the Medussa) which could give her a niche to work with. Milla's luck changed when she managed to seduce the captain of the Medussa while working in the Pirate Port. She found a map to what she could only guess was to the treaure of the Medussa in the Captain's clothes. Taking what oppourtunity had given her, Milla took the map and returned to Port Royal. She remained there for a while, hearing that the Pearl had sunk the Medussa but were unable to collect what they had fought so hard to gain. Milla decided that the map and the Pearl's misfourtune might be her only way onto the ship. So she memorised the map, destroyed it and returned to the Pirate bay, boarding the Pearl the next time it docked. Milla successfully led the crew of the Pearl to the Medussas treasure but took none of her rightful share as she believed that she would be murdered if she did. (Jack Sparrow gave her a necklace from the hoard however, a small silver pendant, with a black peral at it's centre, surrounded by a silver horseshoe lined with diamonds) Milla was allowed to join the crew for a while, cooking and cleaning of course but Captain Sparrow occasionally let her steer the Pearl while the crew were resting. Milla developed a liking for her new Captain and soon wished to become a pirate on a more permanent basis. Although this of course was frowned upon and when Barbossa found out he threatened to drown Milla. (he didn't care too much for her of course, he'd rather of had a son) Captain Sparrow stuck up for Milla however, this and other small fights with Barbossa over Jack's leadership skills as well as his new found liking for "Miss Milla" lead to Barbossa's eventual mutiny aboard the Black Pearl. It was decided that Sparrow should be marrooned and although Milla tried desperately to win her father over to the idea of keeping Jack alive, he was made to walk the plank and left on a small tropical island. Taking Milla with them to Isla de Mouerta ((I know it's spelt wrong lol)) she was witness to the curse that was placed upon the crew of the Black Pearl. The crews new found wealth and greed made Milla no longer wanted aboard the Pearl and she was taken back to Port Royal where she was thrown overboard and left. Milla has been in Port Royal ever since, trying to figure out a way to get back at her father for what he did and become a pirate herself. Other Information: Barbossa found it quite amusing, while drunk one night, to "brand" his daughter with the burning hot side of one of the aztec gold coins. She now has a scar that has the same indentations of the coins just above her right breast. She also wears the necklace given to her by Captain Sparrow, she never takes it off... Milla know's that Jack could never be a one woman man and so has now lost hope of ever gaining his love

Finally getting 'round to my bios. Fun fun. (I won't patronize y'all by writing one for Jack, lol.) Captain Carlita Thellen was born Carlita Gracela in Cartenega. She was a happy child, with four older brothers, two loving parents, and an even more loving grandmother. Little Carlita had a lot of friends as a little girl, including Nonna y Ortega, whose family once lived quite near the Gracelas. But her life was changed drastically when she was in her late teens. The Garnet, a powerful pirate ship captained by Albert Thellen, raided their defenseless town. Under her grandmother's instruction, Carlita fled the house, but was caught nonetheless by a couple of the pirate scoundrels, and was dragged kicking and screaming to the ship. She never discovered what became of her family. For all she knew, they had died, just like her spirit. She kept in seclusion, in a dark cabin, refusing food and drink, so that her phyical form became as emaciated as her soul, and refusing interaction, save when it was forced on her. The only gentleman she knew on that ship were the man who brought her food, Marcel Cartierre. He was a fair skinned man with his dark brown hair and moustache always neatly groomed, aonly just beginning to slide gracefully into middle age, but his bright blue eyes had taken in much for than his years allowed for. The peace in his lined face showed a weariness, but also an understanding for life. Here was a spectator, not one to participate in life, but to help it along. Then there was the captain. Albert was taken in by the young woman's dark, watchful eyes, that did not say "I wish to die" nor "I wish to kill," as was the case with the other prisoners. They said, "I am already dead." Thellen wanted to bring her back to life, and bit by bit, he did. As he fell in love with her, she allowed herself to live. They were married for a brief while before tragedy boar itself again. During a naval attack on the Garnet Albert Thellen was introduced to death by a fatal cannon wound. Barely a tear was shed, even by Carlita. Once the ship was out of harm's way, the crew set about argueing who was to take up the mantel of captaincy. The young French gentleman, Marcel Cartierre, was the only one who did not put himself forward; he brought up the prospect of a Captain Carlita Thellen. Though the rest of the crew were outraged by such a suggestion at first, they grew to find the choice an obvious one. Carlita had a commanding, even sinister heir about her that she had asserted ever since she had taken the name Thellen. They had all been taking orders from her for so long; they may as well have kept doing so. Captain Thellen is no longer the sweet little girl from Cartenega. She is a dramatic figure, with firm olive skin coursened by the sea, long ebony locks constricted to a bun, a tall, almost looming stature that compliments her haughty poise in an intimidating way, and dark mahogany eyes that are haunted by fear and glazed by cruelty. There are few she views as equal to her, and she manages to assert her superiority with only a look of her joyless face, at least around her cowering crew. Very rarely does she lose control; even when enraged she doesn't break her stance. Determination drives her now, as it has done for a long time, but now the object of her conviction is Jack Sparrow, who stole from her a compass that was to lead her to riches beyond anyone's wildest dreams. She will stop at nothing until she has the compass in one hand and Sparrow's bleeding heart in the other. (Sorry, I guess I tend to ramble a bit on these things. But I incorporated Marcel up there, so now it's just Latimer. I'll try to make his shorter.) Latimer Baker was born out of wedlock to Sandra Baker, a grumpy woman in her late twenties. She never really liked her son, having wanted to get married and gave children in a proper family environment. In her eyes, he'd ruined any hopes of that. She couldn't even be bothered to name him; she just called him "boy" (or sometimes worse things), and he picked up the name Latimer later. He was left oftentimes alone to wander the streets of London, or to sit, cold and hungry, in some dark corner of his mother's home. When he was fourteen, he ran away, and Sandra never went looking for him. He hitched a ride on the back of a carriage heading to the nearest port, and from there scoped out the docked ships, anyone of which was sure to lead him to his freedom. But the ship he stowed away on was the Garnet, and all he found there was more oppression. He was whipped brutally on discovery, and even after being allowed to join the crew, he has always been downtrod. He's a bright young lad, granted with no proper education, but he's picked up a few things on the streets and the seas. At seventeen, he should only just be getting used to adulthood, but alas, he has been exposed to the grown up world for a much longer time. His mop of light brown hair is usually kept trimmed at the base of his neck so it doesn't have to by tied back, and it is constantly tossed and ruffled by the wind. He has a slender, boyish face, with rosy cheeks, a bright smile when he can manage it, and a shading of light stubble along his upper lip and jawline. His dark green eyes can still gleam with wonder, but are tragically dulled by the misery of his life. Despite all hardships, however, Latimer still retains a good nature which enables him to care for others and their well being. (Okay, I have a hard time keeping descriptions short. Thank you for your patience.)
