El Dorado on the Isle de Meurta? That would mean that De Soto was way off, and that his map would be no good. I guess its not a terribly big thing, but it would be more accurate if it were on the North American continent. I thought this might be cool for another aspect, too. Characterwise, anyway--Ana could meet up with her people. Don't know if that's of interst to you, Summer, but I thought it might be neat. After we get to the Isle de Meurta and find the map there, presumably we would be united with Jack and the Pearl by then. We could sail to the mainland N. America in search of the City of Gold and have the main bad guy in hot pursuit. But that's just an idea. I'm open to whatever you guys want to do. Oh I love it Tanc! And I'm terribly sorry I got the facts wrong *buries head in sand* So the compass leads to the map (which is hidden somewhere in Isle De Muerta) and then the map will show us the way to Eldorado (which is in N. America) And we sail off to N. America in search of Eldorado, hmm do you know where we are gonna be sailing to? I mean, which part of North America? Oh and Ana meeting her people would be neat! . Is everyone ok with this? Nixy - yep I got it! :good:

Ana among her own people? Doesn't on that other rpg thingy you posted Ana's history and she was an orphan or something? Or perhaps I am simply reading this wrong.

Don't bury your head in the sand, Summer. Its ok. *HUGS* I confuse myself often too. Glad you like the idea of Ana meeting her people. It has a bearing on where we would be in N. America looking for El Dorado. In your backstory, you said that Ana was a member of the Sioux nation. The Sioux lived in land stretching from present day Wyoming and Colorado in the west to about Minnesota in the east I think, and from the Dakotas in the north to parts of Nebraska and Colorado in the south. That would be a LONG treck north from where the Caribbean meets the southern US. But we don't neccessarily have to meet the Sioux. We could meet other Native American tribes, and that might be enough to be an emotional meeting for Ana. And she might still be able to communicate with them. If we stick to the southern US, that would be good, too. Maybe be looking in present day Texas and Arkansas? Just a historical note: if we travel in Texas, that was Spanish territory back then. If in Arkansas or further north with the actual Sioux, that would have been French territory back then. Just an idea. Opinions, fellow writers?

Turner, you didn't have to delete your post or anything. The purpose of my post was to tie together your and Tanc's post and put them into the proper time frame and make it easier to write and continue the story.
Kira certainly can't heal Susan, somebody elses character will have to do that.
Summer, is there anything that you want me to discover by being with Gibbs, or is it some other reason?

Tanc, whichever we go is fine with me! But historically, where was this eldorado? Ah! I think I'll leave the navigating to you then Tanc! Nixy - I shall look into that Athena - Not really, I just thought it would be natural that you'd wanna stay away from the woman you just stole from, feel free to roam and do whatever your heart desire !

Yep, leave the navigating to me, Summer. And historically, El Dorado was nowhere, as it didn't exist! Historians pretty much agree it was just a myth told by the Native tribes to De Soto and other explorers in order to get them as far away from their villages as possible! "Oh, you're looking for El Dorado? It is not here. Go west many, many, MANY miles, and you will find it."

Calen, about your post from earlier today.... It seemed to imply that Gwen had been whipped. Yet both Athena and Summer's posts said that no whipping occured; due to the finding of Susanna, the whipping was postponed. Not neccessarily ordered not to happen. Just that it would happen later. I do plan on posting later today. Nothing major. Just a little character development.

Ok, I think we'd better sort out where Susanna sleeps for the night, I've got my post saved on Word so I won't have to make it up again.
