So like I said in other threads, I finally saw the movie. Cute movie, not scary but very nice all the same. The end sucked but what else is new. I thought it was funny how he fainted all the time. I think some of the best scenes was when he had to dissect that women, and with the blood splattering everywhere, hehehe. I personally am a bit confused though. I understand that the person in his dreams was his dear ol' mum. But why exactly was she so important. And did anyone else find this movie kind of confusing, they kept jumping around to all these different characters and motives. Oh and that witch scene when the devil or something takes over the witch, very very cheesy

I thought it was a big slice of chese. But a decent slice of cheese all the same...
I didn't find it confusing though. My fave bits were the fainting and the horse impression. I thought it had quite a few mistakes (ie. that blood splattering wouldn't happen). But all in all it was a good watch.
Would have been crap if it wasn't for Johnny though..heh heh...

Mwahahahah!!! True true true expecially cos yucky Cristina Ricci was in it *shudders* Yeah Ichabod was such a sissy! But dashingly good looking so that made up for the sissiness hehehehe! He looked really good in the suit, with dark hair and strikingly pale complexion. Oh one more thing, Cristhoper Walken as the bad guy, if both of them werent in it, it would be sooo crap.

You cant forget Christopher Lee in the opening scene as the judge. He is so cool. I loved Walken as well. I thought this was a good movie, now I'm not so sure. Will have to give it a re-watch. I just love the fact that Johnny is in it or maybe because its dark and evil. No I think because Johnny is in it

I thought that the end was bad because in the story it's based off of, Ichobod dies at the end. Also, throughout the story Ichobod kept jumping around and seeing people's motives, which yes, is interesting. But its not good if you don't remember people's names, I just remember what they look like. There were to many families, and family trees involved, it would have been better if instead of saying their names, of going yeah that morbidly obese guy, or the dude with the ugly wig. And that whole business with the step mom and her sister who was also a witch, I got confused with whose the witch and whose from Hell. Not to mention that whole business with Ichobod's mom and dad, I couldn't for the life of me figure out which of those clips were the dream sequences and which weren't.

Ok, yes I understand where you are coming from Athena. I watched it last night. When Ichabod faints he dreams of himself as a little boy with him Mum. So when you see him as a child, he is dreaming this. I don't know the story from the book version. The only other version I have seen is the Dinsey animated one. Pretty funny. So I didn't mind the ending too much as they all lived happily ever after, boo hoo. I loved the way Tim Buton made it very gothic and eery looking. The music by Danny Elfman was chilling to the bone. Very well acted and directed.

Oh it was. Powerful when it was meant to be, creepy at the right time and also moving. Watch it with all the lights out too. Adds to the effect. What is your favourite scene from this movie?
