A: Hot chocolate. It doesn't always help, but it tastes nice. You might try cough syrup as well, and I've heard something about honey and lemon. And sucking on a hard candy generally helps stem excessive coughing.

.:A:. Love 'em! Love writing them (I've won at least two major contests in my region) and reading them too. Too many fave poets to count, two of my all-time faves are the complicated creations of Tolkien and to the light-hearted writings of Shel Silverstein. Can't stand Emily Dickinson though, too corny.
