What's A Level? In America, honor (higher and harder) classes are called AP classes. But I forget what AP stands for, LOL! Nilph, care to help me out if you're there? Man, I can't believe my new backpack just ripped at the seam! It's not a very noticeable rip but still, it can only get bigger! I'm mad at the Jansport company, LOL! On a brighter note, just went shopping today, got some awesome stuff. Went with my mother, after all, we needed to spend some quality time together, whatever that means, LOL! If it means arguing over which color makes her face look pasty, then sure, we're spending you're so-called quality time together. ;D Anyway, I was about to get this totally rockin' Pink Panther shirt but my mom was like all "I wouldn't buy it even if it was 2 bucks!" Grrrrrrrrrrr. MUST ... HAVE ... PINK ... PANTHER!!!

in England, compulsary school ends at 16 - when everyone takes their exams called GCSE's. then you have the option to stay on in what's called 6th form and do your AS and A levels - which are what you need to get into uni.
Or at 16 you can go into college and get another sort of qualification that might also get you into uni or you can go into work.
school sucks. Which reminds me - gotta go to lunch.

*Cringes*
School stuff is generally confusing... I still have trouble distinguishing between the Scottish and Texan systems. Though I seem to remember you generally have to graduate high school over here.
Btw C4O, AP = Advanced Placement. I have that for history, which would explain my last C. Hehe.
Sorry about your backpack... Could it maybe be stitched up?
Pink Panther rules!

Congrats, Elfie! Although I've congratulated you in two other threads already, LOL! ;D But I like parties! Hobson, drinks all around! *High-fives Bosun* I know, Pink Panther rocks. The pink was a bit blinding, but hey, anything for a fashion statement, right? Yep, AP is Advanced Placement, had a brain fart there, LOL! Aimee--so would 6th form give you a better change of getting into a better uni or job?

Oh, okay! So now that I know what I'm congratulating you on, Calen, CONGRATS!!! I hope ya have tons of fun.
PP does indeed rock, and he has a cool theme tune to boot.
Maybe I'm misremembering, but generally do you stay til sixth year if you want to go to university, and leave early to go straight into a job?
